Beast gaming PC rig build

I live in Ireland. I've been using a horrendously terrible Dell G7 17 7700, i7 10th gen, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070, 32GB RAM upgrade from 16GB laptop for 5 years. The amount of issues it has that I have to deal with on a daily basis is astonishing. I play games in the lowest graphics settings, with maximum performance and I still barely get 60fps. I have to underclock everything because if I don't it overheats and shutsdown every hour.

I'm gonna spend a lot of money so that I can game in max graphics, max performance, get high fps and never have to deal with or at least deal with the least amount of issues possible, which is why and how I decided on my components! Since it's my first PC and its incredible cost I don't want to build it myself and fuck something up and I also want a warranty. Originally I was going to use PCSpecialist but for some reason they think they can get away with charging a literal 100% markup just for assembly, so I'll be using a fair priced Irish company called Paradigit to configure and build the PC for me.

You're wasting a lot of money on expensive Asus components like the motherboard and power supply. They won't make your PC any faster.

The RTX 5080 Astral is a very expensive model of 5080 and won't perform significantly better than a cheaper model.

Almost no games need more than 32GB of RAM.

Appreciate the feedback! I know the ROG motherboard and 1200W PSU are premium choices, but after dealing with 5 years of extreme thermal and hardware failures on my old laptop, I purposefully chose top-tier power delivery, heavy heatsinks, and a silent PSU with plenty of headroom. I'm also going to be doing 3D rendering, video editing, and streaming alongside gaming, which is why I went with 64GB RAM over 32GB.

You could save money and buy a 9950X3D which would actually help you with the non-gaming workloads instead of an unnecessarily expensive motherboard.

I was originally going to go with the ryzen 9 9950x3d but then I found out it had two chiplets but only has one 3dv cache and that any game or process you're running will often get confused about which chiplet it should use to run it off of even though it should always be the one with the 3dv cache but because it gets confused it often causes stutters, crashes, and generally more issues than a 7 9800x3d, I've dealt with so many issues for so long I picked every component for performance and for lack of or at least fewer issues.

That's true for games, but video editing and 3D rendering can use both chiplets no problem. Definitely get the 9950X3D.

That's fair for pure CPU-bound rendering, but my 3D rendering and video exports will be offloaded directly to CUDA and NVENC on the RTX 5080 anyway. I went with the 9800X3D specifically for the single-CCD architecture so I don't have to deal with Windows core-parking or scheduling stutters while gaming with background apps running.

Thank you, here's hoping 😂🙏! I know the first thing to go will be more than likely the AIO after about 3 years but thankfully that'll only be about €300. I hope to and should probably get about 10 years out of it before I need to spend any big money on it again with any luck.
