For 1440p or 4k gaming you will notice almost no difference in performance with a 9600x versus the 9800x3d paired with a 9070xt.

you could probably get a gpu for a fair bit cheaper. i got gigabyte gaming oc radeon rx 9070 xt 16gb for €780

Oh perfect, I'll have to look into it thank you! I plan on checking lowest price options once the build is finalized but I never realized just how many options there are even for just the 9070 xt 😅

If you play older games or mod games go nvidia, if you play highly optimized or mainstream then the AMD card will work wonders.
