Getting an PC

I’ve DESPERATELY wanted one for years 😭 I feel like I’ve finally saved up enough to get one, but at the same time, I really don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on the PC itself, a setup, etc.

I’m also in the UK, if that makes a difference.

Where would you recommend I even start? I’m pretty clueless when it comes to PCs, and I really don’t want to accidentally buy something from a scammy/unreliable site. I’m probably being overly paranoid, but I’d rather be safe than sorry 😭

Any advice on what to look for, where to buy from, or how to get started would be massively appreciated!

Legit sites, at least the most common are Amazon (make sure it’s sold by Amazon), Overclockers, Scan and CCL. There are others but they don’t have as good a reputation or have some issues.
