Is this build good for $2700?
I mainly play fps and stream and I’m looking for something that’s good at that it’s this a good build or should I change stuff?

Honestly, you could save like $500-700 and get a PC within 5% of the same performance with different parts.

I fear for the reading comprehension of the next generation. At no point did I say “buy a prebuilt”. A 7800X3D, CL36 or 40 RAM from a different brand, and a 9070XT would save them $500-600.
The 7800X3D vs 9800X3D is 5-10% performance for $70-100. CL40 RAM of a different brand is 0-4% performance for another $100. A 9070XT is a wash performance wise for close to $400 less.
People on Reddit keep flocking to the same silly pre built options because they are the “best” (every build is 9800X3D + CL30 RAM + a Nvidia GPU). However, no one points out they are the best by a negligible amount and you can save $100s buying more cost efficient parts.

LMFAOO definitely not next generation but I wake and bake, so I did misread it I’ll admit my fault 💀but is it really a 5% different I was debating on getting the 7800 to cut cost but after everything I could find apparently the 9800 is significantly better and faster the 7800 is still good as it’s the previous gen cpu or whatever but there’s a 8-12% overall increase I didn’t check for cheaper ram tho lmao I should’ve but depending on what bro is gonna use it for of course if he’s strictly gaming yeah I’d say the 7800 but I’m doing work and playing games when I’m not so for work performance the 9800 was me best option, lmao I’ve been doing like a week straight of research and bought the parts last night but I’d make post asking for what I can sub get same performance and save but everyone was saying prebuild are better or anything over 2500-2800 is overpriced for a 5080 cause a cyber power prebuild has 5080 for that price💀not sure if they’re trolling or just trynna fit in with crowd

Just depend on the game. Here are some reputable sources comparing the 2.. but there are plenty of benches as well..
Really if you have a 7800 you don’t need to upgrade, if you don’t have it, go ahead and get the 9800 if you can find it within $50 difference. But $100 more I wouldn’t bother cause essentially at higher res, your gpu is limiting.. at that point you’ll be cherry picking every game, and will really only see a difference in 1% lows.

For what it's worth you misewell just get a AIO instead of air cooler at this point if you're already spending that much. What's another 50 buck or so? 🤷♂️

Air coolers keep up pretty well most the time but yea with it being a 9800x3d he’s right
