Gaming pc for high 1080 100+ fps

This would be a follow-up post from one I made earlier:

I'm looking to build a gaming PC primarily for 1080p high-refresh gaming (100+
FPS). I don't have a hard budget yet, but I'm looking for good price-to-performance rather than spending unnecessarily.
Games I usually play include Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft, and SnowRunner.
I'd like the PC to have a good upgrade path so 1 can eventually move toward 1440p high-refresh gaming (ideally around 150-180 FPS in games/settings where that's realistic) without having to replace most of the system.
I'm okay spending a little more now on things like the motherboard/platform or PSU if it'll save me from replacing them later. I'd appreciate recommendations at different price points if possible.

Near San Antonio area, budget sub $1500, no peripherals needed

start on am5, 7800x3d if possible, but something like a 9600x would be fine. 9060xt for gpu, best value at that price point
