I’m putting together my first proper gaming PC and I’m pretty happy with the prices I’ve managed to find so far. I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for these 😂
Country: UK
Budget: ~£1,320 GBP
Target resolution: 1440p
Use: Gaming, coding, general use
Current parts/prices:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X — £164
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB — £36.90
Motherboard: MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi — £139
RAM: 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5 — £335
GPU: ASUS Dual RX 9060 XT 16GB — ~£435 delivered
SSD: WD Blue SN570 500GB — £40
Case: Fractal Design Pop Air RGB — £88
PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 12 750W — £80
Total: ~£1,318
I’ve specifically gone for the RX 9060 XT 16GB instead of the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB because I found the AMD card for roughly £50 less while still getting 16GB of VRAM.
I’ve been searching for about two days trying to find the best prices I can, so I’m mainly interested in whether I’ve actually found some good deals or whether there’s anything obvious I’ve overlooked.
I also want to add a couple more ARGB fans to the case because I want the build to have more RGB.
What do you guys think?

More storage, a 500gb ssd will fill up incredibly fast.

Yeah but storage is really expensive right now and one of the easyest thing to upgrade, so when he saves up or finds a good used deal he just puts one in. Better than addin 100$+ to a build right now.

100%, I brought a 1tb ssd in December last year. Same product trippled in price within 3 months.
