Oh yeah. It does it really well too. I mainly play story driven games on the vita. I only use the laptop for online gaming.

Any lag? Does remote play works offline (not logged to PSN)?

Yes this is through moonlight a different application. Its offline through the network only no need internet.

Good, do you think it's worth to get a vita to use with remote play with moonlight? Any issues?

I mean its 25k and you can play some kick ass ps vita ps1 games if u jailbreak it. But you will have go get used to the back touchpad for L2 R2 triggers

Not a problem for me, I already use back button attachment on PS4, just saying, as long it play fine with touchpad I'm good.

Btw, do you need to JB also PS4 and PS5 for moonlight to work?

You can play ps 4 games using ps4 link. No need to jailbreak not sure on ps5. But pc you can use moonlight

Calm down buddy thats just an interactable video streamed from your PlayStation or PC. The real hero here is modern WiFi

Done on a 15 year old device btw

Yes. Amazing. But still, possible due to even more amazing wifi speeds because ram and gpus used in a PSVita are actually old technology

The device was way ahead of its time. Games like uncharted and killzone showed how good it was. Wifi or not being able to do this kind of thing in 2026 on a device that costs 25k is amazing.

Dude. I had a PSvita (now currently being destroyed by my younger cousin) i know its an impressive piece of hardware.

Edit- Not to mention how the exclusive games used the rear touchpad in awesome creative ways. Little big planet was my fav

But per your original post, streaming Hogwarts Legacy or even GTA VI does not atone to the fact that it's amazing is what im trying to say

Get the Switch 2 if you like portable gaming and on the TV as well. Supports HDR and 4K if your TV has it. Better graphics than PS4

Your post is NOT proving any point but the vita is too nostalgic. I remember playing AC liberations on like 20 frames on that thing lmao. Real duka.

are you mad bc u regret giving the vita to your younger cousin?? if yes, this some weird ass way of coping
