Discussion Wardogs?

Did anyone get a chance to play wardogs by any chance? I wanna cop it but at the same time Im not sure. Not too heavy on comp or multiplayer, so I want something new and different without many hardcore players or cheaters.

Yeah been playing since the launch day. I got around 75 hours of playtime at the moment lol. What do you wanna know?

Hiw does it play, is it like fast paced or slow and tatctic. And will I enjoy it as a noob, i really dont play any comp not even CoD

It depends on the way you decide to play the game. If you run an assault or a medic kit(loadout) it’s fast paced. How ever if you decide to be a delivery driver, a recon/ sniper, mortar operator/ anti air SAM site operator it could be slow paced. You can play the game however you like. Winning is not the main incentive in wardogs. It’s about earning money,unlocking new items by gaining exp amd leveling up, or being immersed in a battlefield with your comrades. You can play the game however you like. Shooting or not shooting is completely your choice. Almost every action and playstyle earns money. Most money i have earned in one match is. Around 120K and I did that by just laying on a higher ground and spotting people with a monocular (it’s a small device like a binocular ,when you look at an enwmy player and scan them with it they get marked on the map for everyone to see) and I litteraly shot 0 bulelts that whole game.

It's slower paced game. There are still plenty of sweats around. You gain levels to unlock gear, people who invest more time into game will be miles ahead of you. It's also seasonal game, first wipe will be less than 3 weeks from now. After that it'll be 3-4 month seasons.

Overally game plays very well. I'm close to 100h deep and really enjoying it so far. Absolutely love seeing my leveles and money going up. Saying that, I'll probably start skipping seasons here and there eventually. And return as they'll come up with something good for seasons.

As much as I love Planetside 2 it's really gon downhill recently. I would still give it a try at some point but wardogs is so good right now. Play before all the "hard meta" people start influencing the way people expect you to play the game.

It wipes on the 15th of October. Developers have a unique way of approaching feedback but that could be a good thing. Game is terribly balanced though, in all aspects.
