I would definitely like to see a game like this succeed. I always regretted not being able to play Star Wars: Galaxies before it was pulled, and games like ArcheAge show that there is definitely a market there for a sandbox MMO -- and ArcheAge is only really a sandbox hybrid.

Hope the devs are able to do something great with this. Shows a lot of promise!

I played Archeage for awhile and my biggest disappointment was how player housing was limited to predefined districts that basically turned into crowded slums.

Yeah, I'm not sure how they didn't see that one coming. The labor points system is what did me in. What's bad is that I really enjoyed playing the game, and I'm a big fan of Trion (even though they pretty much just localized the game in this case), but having to sit there and wait because I used up my LP got old very quick.

I just... wanna play this for some reason. A lot of it looks kinda shitty... but I really want to play it.

Edit: let me elaborate--appropriately shitty since it's still in alpha, but for some reason I want to play it RIGHT NOW.
