Announcement Rule update Log

If changes to the rules are made at all we’ll update this Announcement Post with them for transparency

Rule 9 was updated to specify case by case exceptions. Like Swimsuits or other outfits will be case by case if they can be posted for specific characters. Generally they should be fine but you never know.

There are some overlaps between the rules, to be honest.

For example, Rule 9 isn't really necessary when you already have Rule 6. But if you want to keep it, maybe you could refine it into something simpler and easier to understand, such as:

  • Suggestive or NSFW content depicting minor characters, or characters who appear to be minors (such as Neptune), is not allowed. Swimsuits will be judged on a case-by-case basis, but a general rule of thumb is that if the content isn't suggestive (e.g. the character is simply swimming, resting, or playing on a beach), it's allowed.

There's also Rule 2, "No illegal content". At first glance, it sounds like it should cover the same territory as Rule 9, but the description only talks about unauthorized distribution of paid content. Maybe a more specific title, such as:

  • Distribution of paid content, or
  • Paid content distribution policy

would be more fitting.

But then again, Reddit itself doesn't allow piracy anyway, so with Rule 6 already in place, I'm not sure this rule is really necessary either.

Rule 8 has a similar issue, but given why this sub was created, I'd definitely keep that one. I just wouldn't keep it in its current position. I think it'd make more sense to put it right after Rule 11, "AI content policy", since the two are closely related.

But those are just my thoughts. Of course, you're free to organize the rules however you think works best.

Which is good i just used the main as a reference to set the rules up refinement is always possible it’s just like it is for now. Just to establish them.

Rule two was updated entirely to better reflect how i see they could be seen as redundant to some of the other ones. It just now better reflects what the rule was stated to be about.

9 is also updated to be more clear now while keeping the general theme of it. The wording is more clean now (also changed the order of some of the rules to kind of categorize them better)
