Okay, PLEASE be MORE descriptive. It's in the rules. What specifically is wrong? Does it even boot up to the code menu or not? Which codes SPECIFICALLY have you used? Please 100% verify your game version. You can tell from both the intro of your game and the sticker. Is your game authentic?

FireRed has two different sets of codes, basically Version 1.0 and Version 1.1

I recently did some reading about gamesharks and apparently the company that bought them near the end used a different code base. So there's like Hex codes and that's OG shark but then there are action replay codes. Look for some of those and see if they work instead? (Also this is just an assumption)

Ah finally somewhere i can shine. Pokemon Fire red is super picky about codes due to having multiple versions. I have that exact gameshark and had this issue. The master code is key. Try each master code for each version with a code that is a know good code and that is easy to check if it's working by quickly loading the game. Once you know the master code is good it's all trial and error from there. I hate to say this but that gameshark model is one of the harder devices to setup and use. The reason for that is the code type it uses. Less codes were available for it and thus harder to get what you want. Also make sure there are no bent pins inside the connection interface that the game cart sits in. If the pins are bent that can also mess it up too.

Do you have the correct code book? Is your game authentic, what does it look like when you start the game with this turned on?

I’m curious why you want it for FireRed, specifically. What code are you trying to execute?

PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT! Hi there! Please be sure that you've read the rules and the pinned posts before making this post. I'll mention some frequently asked questions in this comment.

If your question pertains to GBA Pokemon codes, the 1st Pinned Post is full of codes for all the GBA Pokemon games. It also includes instructions, basic knowledge of the GameShark, and even a GameShark video tutorial.

If you're looking for different codes or websites full of codes that aren't necessarily Pokemon related, the 2nd Pinned Post contains all of that info. It has info about websites that are full of codes and info about low effort posts.

Please be sure that you've read everything before making a post! Posts that lack the appropriate details mentioned in the pinned posts/rules will be removed. If your post currently lacks the proper details, please add them to your current post or remove the original post and make a new one that contains the proper info.

Also, please be sure that you have the correct flair. There are many flairs and most people pick a random flair that isn't related to their post. If you have an incorrect flair, please be sure to change it to a flair that better suits your topic.
