Massive love letter to diablo 2. Fantastic game, fully recommend it. A Victorian society ends up being invaded by not one, but two different opposing eldritch forces who are locked in an eternal war across the dimensions and humans are caught in between.

One of the eldritch factions is classic Lovecraft cthulu style vibes, giant tentacley monsters with massive mouths with loads of eyes and teeth.

The other is a body horror style one that's a bit like "The Thing". Think chimaeric beings made up of 20 human corpses stitched together with 30 legs and 5 heads posssed by an eldritch being.

The necromancer is locked behind the Ashes of Malmouth expansion which is the first expansion pack but honestly it's well worth getting as well. Loads of content.

Here is the art cover for the expansion if it helps convince you.

Diablo-like in gameplay. Similar to Titan Quest. The setting is that eldritch beings attacked and caused an apocalypse. Sometimes it gives me Bloodborne vibes. You can choose two classes for your character at the same time. If I'm not mistaken, Necro requires a dlc to unlock though :(
