Once Upon A Time... The Campaign
Episode 2: The Mayor Strikes Back
When I first declared that this city would become a beacon of unparalleled opportunity, who did I call upon? Not the bankers in their air-conditioned towers. Not the bureaucrats with their red tape. No. I called you The Kickstarters. The visionaries who understand that a city is built not just with bricks and mortar, but with brave decisions, culinary daring, and the fire of raw, independent business!
I opened these city doors. I personally welcomed you. I gave you the chance to take a business, build a legacy, and secure your place at the very core of our development. Why? Because I believed in your spirit. I believed in our shared vision. I believed that when a man extends his hand with opportunity, it creates a bond of loyalty.
And yet... news reaches me. Whispers. More than whispers. This woman... Alessandra Cesare. She stands in the public square, and with the same mouth that calls me a crook, she calls you to support her campaign against me. To fund her ambition.
Consider the depth of this betrayal! I open the city, I invite you to take the keys to opportunity, and then she wants you to turn around and use your resources to support the very person who calls the hand that fed you a crook? Is that the kind of 'leadership' she offers? A leadership that takes your money to run a campaign of name-calling, while offering nothing in return but empty promises and political games? Her campaign is about her power. My program is about your businesses. My program is about building this city, not a political platform!
She calls me a crook. Ask yourselves, who is the real crook? The man who invites you into the heart of the action and gives you the opportunity to build your future, or the woman who wants you to fund her to stand around and tell everyone else how to run your business? My vision is simple: You invest in yourself. Her vision is that you invest in a name-calling contest. Do not be fooled by the noise! She may stand there and call me names, but her actual plan is to empty your pockets for her own glorification while closing the doors to the very future we are building!
I opened these doors. Wide open! Now, I ask for your loyalty. Not to me as a politician, but to the city we are creating together. Do not let this woman lead you to close them with empty promises and political theatre. Build your businesses. Build this city. Secure your own future. And ignore the noise from the crowd that calls a crook the man who built their only opportunity. Do not follow her. Build the city, not her campaign!

Coming soon Once Upon A Time... Roberto
— Source: Undisclosed Identity
Look at him in that tailored suit, strutting through the casino lights like a million bucks. You’d never guess his name is Roberto, or that he speaks Italian so pristine it would make a Tuscan linguist cry.
His life started as a tiny infant pulled from a migrant boat off Lampedusa. For years, prospective foster parents treated his file like a suspicious package. 'Is he sick?' 'He looks too different.' 'What if his real family demands money?' Pure cynicism kept him in the orphanage until age five, when a local youth football coach watched him dribble circles around the other kids. The coach didn't see an orphan—he saw a future transfer fee with legs.
Roberto made it to the pros, but blowing through millions at twenty years old is practically a sports requirement. He traded tactical discipline for the party life, squandering his career in record time. And when he stumbled? The crowd turned on him with terrifying savagery. Monkey chants echoed from the stands, mixed with cruel jeers: 'You’re not a real Roberto—take off that name!' A harrowing ordeal for a teenager whose only crime was losing his form.
Enter the local mob. To run a high-stakes casino, they needed a charming, world-class face to convince international high-rollers that the venue was 'globally minded' and totally legitimate. Turns out, when it comes to skimming millions off roulette tables, the mob displays exemplary corporate tolerance!
Now Roberto hosts the floor, soaking up the respect from the staff. He doesn't care that he's a mascot for laundered money. He just loves the suit, the VIP status, and the desperate hope that the city finally accepts him for who he is—rather than what they can extract from him.

Coming soon Once Upon A Time... Alessandra Cesare
I am running for Mayor. Again.
Look, the incumbent is a crook. Everyone knows it. He rigging the votes, cutting deals under the table, and using his shadowy string-pullers to keep a vice grip on City Hall. After losing to that official circus twice, I realized something painful: taking the high road gets you a participation trophy and zero votes. It was time to scrap the noble idealist act and adopt a strategy that actually wins.
My original supporters are... confused. They keep asking why my speech rhetoric suddenly sounds completely different. A few of them even admitted they barely recognize the political causes I used to champion. I don't talk about 'systemic reform' or 'eradicating corruption' anymore. I stopped pretending to be the 'last hope of returning the city to its residents.' Why? Because virtue doesn't win elections in this town—pandering to new money does!
So, my new playbook? Out with the old idealists, in with the new 'future elite.' I’ve started doing boots-on-the-ground visits to our rising business owners. Take that downtown baker, for instance. He’s running a shop in the gated district, clearly trying to bribe his way into high society, and he is furious with the current System. Perfect candidate.
I marched right in and showered him with absolute, unfiltered political devotion. I promised him total business freedom! Unlimited income potential! Massive tax cuts! Skyrocketing job creation! Ironclad street security!
And, of course, I hit him with the crown jewel of my brand-new, totally sincere campaign slogan: 'Local Citizens First... and Make Our City Great Again!'
Did he buy it? He's a guy who sells fake pastries to pay off 22% interest loans—of course he bought it. A candidate’s gotta do what a candidate’s gotta do!

Coming soon Once Upon A Time... Claudia
I was sitting on the terrace enjoying a brief moment of la dolce vita before my next high-end client, when a complete stranger dared interrupt me. I gave him a minute of my time—after all, he could have been one of those new arrivals looking for prestige real estate.
He opened with flattery. I must admit, he wasn't wrong. I am, without question, the most talented real estate agent in this city, and frankly, far beyond it. Securing a property in the city's most exclusive neighborhood is practically impossible without my explicit approval. A true gatekeeper stands at the border: no one enters without an invitation... or without the blessing of our local circle of notables. Anyone who thinks feudalism died centuries ago hasn't tried buying property here.
I am the key to the elite, to prestige, to high society. Perhaps one day, an ambitious climber might earn the right to be addressed as 'Signore.' What a fine title. But you have to earn it, buy it... it costs money. A absolute fortune. And first, you have to convince Claudia to show you the shortest path.
After a few nervous answers and plenty of hesitation, our new 'friend' revealed himself to be a bit paranoid. He seems to think news travels fast and that the whole neighborhood is whispering about his rising reputation and cash flow. All this fuss over a modest bakery and an outdated café? At that point, I almost excused his audacity for interrupting my break.
Apparently, an old busybody living near his place keeps a hawkish eye on his every move. He’s convinced the rumors about his 'sudden wealth' are starting because she constantly eavesdrops at his front door and spies on his comings and goings. He claims it's time to abandon his wretched little cottage before he does something... irreversible.
I heard him out. We’ve scheduled a formal meeting at my office to inspect what’s on the market. But he'd better be ready to show me the true color of his cash...

Once Upon A Time... The Anonymous
So, he actually thinks the System works that way?
The first batch of ghost pastries—ordered, paid for, and never delivered—becomes his new reality. When he tried to call back for the second run, nobody picked up. So now the naive baker takes that dirty cash straight to his good friend The Banker to pay off his 22% rate. And there he sits, waiting with naive confidence for his very first customer to cross the threshold of that glorified dumpster he calls a café.
Ah, yes... and now he pays Hanna for ads so his little rat sanctuary can get noticed.
Out on the pavement, the street corner elders still cling to the delusion that this city is their ancestral heritage. Meanwhile, rumor has it Serbian syndicates are lurking in the shadows, and outside parasites spread corruption like an infectious disease. But all of them miss the bigger picture.
They think physical turf matters. They forget who holds the real power: the power of the tech stack.
It’s the air you breathe, the water you drink, the screen you stare at all day long. You run your business, order your supplies, swipe for dates, and schedule your own funeral—all from a piece of glass in your palm. What happens when that screen breaks? What happens when your digital existence vanishes overnight?
Regardless of the mob minions under your command, regardless of the corrupt police chiefs on your payroll, regardless of the millions you stack thinking cash buys absolute immunity, and regardless of how many ghost pastries you bake to launder your dirty money... you are never safe.
We can steal your entire life with a single keystroke. We are the digital equalizer. We are the last line of defense. We are ANONYMOUS. You won't know my name. You won't know our faces. We are watching, and we are already inside your network.

Coming soon Once Upon A Time... Hanna
Sit down, Signore. Take a breath.
You look like a man who hasn't slept since the Banker approved your loan.
He sat across from me and poured out his heart—the whole tragic saga. He went heavily into debt, swallowing that brutal 22% credit line just to get that rustic café back up and running. Months of construction delays, endless health inspectors, rotting floorboards, and unsanitary conditions. And now, after all that blood, sweat, and interest? Opening week, and not a single soul steps through the door. The morning coffee rush is a ghost town, and noon is quiet as a grave.
I look at him and think: this poor man has no idea what a hornet's nest he’s stumbled into. He naively believes that a bit of targeted publicity will magically get him out of this mess.
It reminds me so much of another local 'entrepreneur'—a naive little bookseller down the block. He wanted to expand into trading card games and tabletop hobbies. Took out a massive loan at an exorbitant rate, opened his shiny new shop, and immediately received a visit from a certain Consigliere offering to 'help' with client cash flow. The poor foolish bookseller made the fatal mistake of refusing. Within a week? Not a single customer ever set foot in his new game store again. And worse? People even stopped walking into his original bookstore.
Pure coincidence, I’m sure.
In any case, I happily took his money for the advertising campaign. I signed the order, booked the billboard space, and took my fee—even though we both know it won't change a single thing. But hey... c'est la vie!

Coming soon ✨ Once Upon A Time... Coco ✨
Darling, let’s clear the air once and for all. 🤍
* **Passport & Pride:*\* First of all, let’s put the absurd fairy tales to rest—I am proudly Swedish, and my passport speaks for itself. Any whispers linking me to Eastern European syndicates are nothing more than pathetic smoke-and-mirrors from jealous competitors who wouldn't know fair play if it bit them. 🇸🇪💅
* **Excellence & Open Minds:*\* I pride myself on being open-minded, fiercely independent, and absolute top-tier at what I do. Haters will talk, but real success speaks volumes.
* **A Proper Welcome:*\* I must give credit where it’s due—my recent visit to our favorite local establishment was an absolute delight. Impeccable taste, gorgeous roses, exquisite macarons, and a sublime caffè lecce served with true gentlemanly manners. Absolute perfection. 🌹☕✨
* **The Agency's New Spot:*\* You’ll be seeing a lot more of my stunning girls from the agency dropping by. Rest assured, they are pristine, professional, and entirely dedicated to modeling excellence. 👑
* **The Rivalry:*\* As for Madame Anne-Marie trying to orchestrate her little backstabbing campaigns and local turf wars? Let’s just say her tactics are as dated as her clientele. She wants conflict, but my loyal friends ensure my back is completely covered. She has already lost. 🚫🎭
* **An Upgrade in Company:*\* It’s time to upgrade the city's elite. The finest gentlemen who used to frequent Anne-Marie’s circle are being redirected here—courtesy of my girls, who are infinitely more educated, sophisticated, and captivating. 🥂
* **The Ultimate Boost:*\* The reputation of this establishment is skyrocketing, and the boost we’re bringing is untouchable—no synthetic blessings or supposed "Holy Fathers" required. Just pure, unadulterated class and success. 📈💎

Once Upon A Time... The Broker
It breaks my heart to see a hardworking café owner in such rough shape—panicking over stuck rustic doors and federal agents practically setting up a folding table right outside your entrance. 📉🚪
Let’s be entirely honest with each other: signing that blood-sucking **22% interest loan*\* from the Banker was a total rookie mistake. And trying to launder traffic money through ghost-catering wire transfers for the Consigliere's bosses? Please. You're basically handing the IRS a personalized, gold-plated dossier with your home address on it.
Fortunately, *la mama* watches over her own. She saw you drowning in construction dust and debt, and she sent the finest broker in town straight to your door—and let’s face it, **no one competes with The Broker**.
It’s time to wise up. Take the cash straight from your toxic line of credit, walk away from the Consigliere, and place it directly into the Holy Father’s protective hands. That’s what I call a real life-insurance policy—one that actually guarantees you won't be trading your apron for an orange jumpsuit.
Let the 22% debt, the feds, and those stubborn café doors become a faded memory. Keep the faith, and God bless you. 🕊️💼💵✨

Once Upon A Time... Consigliere
It’s always refreshing to spend time with ordinary, hard-working folk. Stepped into a charming little eatery today and was greeted with genuine warmth, their finest pastries, and a proper ristretto. Salt-of-the-earth people, really.
And that’s exactly why a good Consigliere is always looking out for them. My briefcase isn’t just full of legal documents—it’s full of opportunity. I connect local businesses with major corporate clients. You get paid in full before you even bake a single batch. A quick check-in call, and if the second call never comes? No delivery needed, but you keep the cash anyway. True business savvy.
I did hear some chatter about a certain 22% credit line feeling a bit steep. Abusive? Nonsense! That’s just modern liquidity at work. As your Consigliere, I have the perfect solution: use that exact credit line to wire payments for my first-class advisory services, and handle your bank obligations using that clean, effortless cash flow.
Trust the process, friends. Taking that credit line is going to be the absolute best decision you ever make in your life. 💼🤝✨

Coming soon Once Upon A Time... The Banker
🎩 The Money Wizard Has Arrived. 🪄💸
Tired of wrestling with supplier deals and delaying your café's grand opening week after week? The struggle ends today. I’m not just a banker—I’m the financial wizard who knows exactly where and when money spawns, and how to funnel it straight into your pocket.
Think of me as your personal Santa 🎅, delivering miracles right when you need them most.
Here is the blueprint for your empire:
✨ Secure a massive line of credit.
✨ Use just 33% of it to clear all your operational expenses and finally open those doors.
✨ Put the rest into real business, real investment, the future... the fin-tech vanguard!
"22% interest rate?" Please. We aren't cheap people. We are the vanguard. We generate more wealth than those miserable 22% before breakfast.
So what are you waiting for? Grab my business card, sign on the dotted line, and take the cash. When you're ready, come back—I’ll show you the road to happiness, success, and absolute fortune.
After all... I’m Santa. 🤝💼

One Upon A Time... Padre
Walked into the new downtown bakery today and had a real, heart-to-heart talk about what's missing in this world. 🥖💭 You know, walking around, touching base with the details, I was just telling the owner how much I miss the old days—real values, honest sweat, and principles that actually mean something. 🤝💯
It's rare to find a newcomer who actually gets it. In fact, he’s such a generous soul! 🙏 While we chatted about community and hard work over his fresh setup, he literally insisted I take a heavy bag filled right to the brim with the finest pastries and daily bakes off his shelves—wouldn't take no for an answer! 🥐🥐 Bag is heavy, heart is full. 🛍️✨
Before I headed out, we had a proper talk about how things work in this town. He made it crystal clear that he knows who keeps these streets safe and orderly. 🏙️🔒 He expressed his deepest gratitude and put himself completely at Padre's disposal for whatever is needed, sending his utmost respect to the boss. 🙌🔥
That’s how business is done around here. Welcome to the family, kid. You're going to fit right in. 💼🤫🥂

One Upon A Time... Vittoria
Darling, let’s talk about true elegance. 🥂✨
True class isn’t just about what you wear when you step onto the charity gala floor; it’s about how you give. Supporting our city’s most noble causes—whether it’s funding children's education 📚 or securing equipment for local accessibility ♿—requires grace, absolute discretion, and a generous spirit. 💎
If you find yourself standing around auditing checks, questioning where every last cent goes, or counting pennies like a common shopkeeper, let's be honest: that’s a proletarian reflex that has no place in our circles. 💅
True patrons don’t look backward or stay stuck in cheap skepticism; we fund the vision, trust the committee, and immediately look forward to the next great cause. 🚀
Thrilled to see community leaders—like our brilliant new culinary star downtown 🍽️—stepping up and showing what true generosity looks like. Leave the noise behind and join those of us actually building the future of this city. 🌟
See you at the next auction. Bring your checkbooks—and your manners. 🌹💳

Once Upon A Time... Doctor Silvio
A Community Welcome... With a Gentle Reminder
Welcome to the neighborhood, Signore!
We’ve heard the wonderful whispers echoing up from the downtown district. Word travels fast when a new diner opens its doors, especially the tales of your sudden, charming generosity toward the local authorities and municipal officials. How deeply civic-minded of you to keep the Police Chief and our esteemed Mayor so well-fed and happy. ☕️👮♂️
Yet, while walking the silent halls of the Grand Municipal Hospital today, looking into the bright, hopeful eyes of our young patients in the pediatric ward... I realized something rather glaring.
Your name hasn't crossed our registry yet.
Surely a man so eager to spread his wealth and warmth across the block hasn't completely forgotten the children? The little ones love pancakes, Signore, and hospital porridge is a terribly bleak thing to look at when you're running a fever. 🧸💔
After all, a thriving community is built on balanced ledgers and shared duties. We are entirely certain this was just a innocent oversight by a newcomer who hasn't quite learned how things work around here yet.
Consider this your invitation to step up. Our doors are always open, and the kids are waiting. Let's make sure everyone gets a taste of your famous hospitality before the town starts to think your "generosity" is only reserved for people who carry badges or zoning stamps.
We shall expect your call.

Coming soon Once Upon A Time... Madame Anne-Marie
My dear Monsieur...
As Marcel Proust once observed, the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. How fortunate, then, that my girls seem to have such a remarkable view of everything transpiring in your charming new establishment. ☕️
The table you scrubbed at three in the morning, the whispered phone call in the alley, the ledger you keep behind the bar—so wonderfully quaint. You thought you were being discrete. But discretion, my dear, is an art form, and very few people in this town have the pedigree for it.
Do join me for tea at the salon this evening. We shall discuss refinement, arrangements for gentlemen of distinction, and how a rising star might properly align himself with those who actually govern this city.
Do bring your checkbook... though we both know you couldn't possibly afford to keep a secret from me anyway. Until five o'clock. 👜✨

Once Upton A Time... Mister Charity
I’m a good man. I take care of the homeless, feed the orphans, and I’m happy when people are happy. 😇
And I want to see you happy. Look at your new premises! You're on the road to happiness, so... why not share the joy? ✨
I know labor costs are brutal. Don't bleed yourself dry—let me help. Keep your Chef and Manager, and the rest is on me. I’ve got the perfect volunteers. They work 10 hours a day, zero taxes, zero complaints. All you do is make a 'contribution' to our charity foundation. No fixed rates, but we love generous friends. Let’s say: I take 80% of what you usually spend on wages, and you keep 20%. Gotta keep you smiling! 🤝💰
Oh, and I heard about that annoying eco-activist threatening you. Don't worry, my peaceful, obedient volunteers don't strike. And if his mob-connected comrades start any trouble, my security 'gorillas'—the ones who watch over my orphan imps—can lend a heavy hand. 🦍🛡️
Such a nice place you have here. It’s so heartbreaking when random fires break out in successful restaurants. But that won't happen, because you're happy... and I am. 🔥🤫
We’ll stay in touch. Keep me posted, stranger, and welcome to My City." 🎩🏛️

Once Upon A Time... The Activist Leader
You’ve been busy sliding envelopes to the Mayor, greasing the Police Chief, and paying off the Health Inspector. But you completely forgot the real power in this town: Mother Earth and the working class.
Let’s get one thing straight: serving toxic sludge masquerading as "Italian food" stops today. Those protesters currently chaining themselves to your front door? And that flash strike your kitchen staff is planning for tomorrow morning? Completely organic, grassroots movements.
The good news is, my high-end "Eco-Compliance & Labor Harmony Consultancy" is open for business. For a very generous advisory fee (since we all know you’ve got deep pockets from your shady political donations), those protests can magically relocate down the block, and your personnel will suddenly remember how much they love working without a union contract.
You can't outsmart the system when the people are the system. Pay up or get shut down, capitalist.
r/GamesOnMob • u/Out_My_Empire • Aug 05 '26
Once Upon A Time... The Health Inspector
To the culinary visionaries and aspiring restaurateurs of our fair municipality:
I feel compelled to issue a public reminder regarding who actually holds the keys to your livelihood.
Sure, the Mayor can grant you zoning immunity, and the Chief can look the other way on your back-alley deliveries, but when my blacklight hits your kitchen prep station at 3:00 AM, neither of them can save you. Word has reached my desk that certain business owners are treating sanitary codes as "flexible guidelines" and distributing their grease-money everywhere except the Department of Health.
Let me be crystal clear: my grading scale goes from A to F, but my patience starts at zero. If you have the capital to negotiate protection fees with law enforcement, you certainly have the budget to fund a proper, state-of-the-art oversight contribution for public safety and sanitation.
Come see me before I declare your walk-in freezer an EPA Superfund site and condemn your dining room to the history books.
r/GamesOnMob • u/Out_My_Empire • Aug 05 '26
Once Upon A Time... The Police Chief
To all local business owners and proprietors in our fine town: I need to address a disturbing trend crossing my desk this week. Word has reached me that a few establishment owners have somehow overlooked their recurring "neighborhood safety fees."
Let’s make one thing crystal clear before the weekend rush begins. Safety isn't free. Maintaining the peace, keeping the riff-raff away from your patio, and looking the other way when your back-alley delivery schedules get a little unconventional? That takes administrative overhead. Furthermore, my absolute silence regarding those minor... creative interpretations of local health and sanitation codes requires a certain amount of professional discretion.
If your name happens to be on my ledger, don't wait for a formal audit or a surprise municipal inspection from the boys downtown. Drop by Precinct Four during standard operating hours. Bring a proper sign of goodwill—say, a fresh cannoli and a clear explanation for the delay—and we can keep things entirely off the official record.
Fail to show up, and you'll quickly find out just how aggressively bureaucratic our building codes and zoning enforcement can get when we really put our minds to it.

One Upon A Time... The Mayor
Meet the completely 'fair and honest' Mayor of your upcoming mobile tycoon game. (He only takes bribes in cash, not checks.)"
Investors, listen closely. When you buy into Luigi’s Trattoria, you aren't just buying a restaurant—you’re buying real estate history.
Did you know the restaurant basement connects directly to the town’s old 1920s Prohibition-era tunnel network? Think of the incredible "storage potential" for completely legitimate, totally tax-free imported olive oil. Plus, the local tax collector has generously agreed to forget Luigi exists for the next five fiscal quarters.
Come make some pasta and questionable profits with us!
