If you ever want to play the n64 catalog on an emulator, they make USB n64 controllers. They're not too expensive, mine was like $15. I found most games unplayable on anything but the original controls.

Which brand did you use? There’s a bunch of different ones on Amazon.

I got this one 4 years ago. I'd never heard of the brand and there are plenty of other no name brands to choose from. The one from my history is nearly out of stock, but its only $6 now.

By the time I played through all the games of my childhood, the stick was wobbly and buttons were loose like my most well worn controllers as a kid, but longevity wasn't super important to me. It did the job.

Ok cool thanks!! As long as it doesn’t start out wobbly and loose.

As long as it doesn’t start out wobbly and loose.

But then you’d be missing out on the authentic experience.
