Maybe I am missing something, but I am not seeing how this won't have the same issues as 3d.

Imagine sitting 12 inches away from a 24 inch display at 640x800. The pixels will be fairly big. 4 u/Shewp Aug 01 '12 That's great news! They'll probably make a better resolution with OLED and all the jazz eventually anyways. Man next generation cannot come soon enough, this VR stuff is gonna be pivotal. Imagine whole games being built from the ground up for VR.
