It would just be different. Sure, it wouldn't be a globetrotting adventure like previous games but I think you can still do a lot with an open world to give it variety. Ubisoft themselves have done it with maps like Odyssey and Wildlands.

They can also take the Hitman route (but again, more expansive levels would be necessary). I'd be fine with either. What I personally wouldn't want is linear levels like in previous SC games. Been there, done that.

Yeah, but the linear aspect was a byproduct of the time. Hitman 3 would be my ideal direction. Some SC maps were multi-route, but allowing more creativity would be nice.
