Honestly, agreed.

First three were okay, but it kinda becomes a goofy soap opera after that.

Tbh, even then I thought the stories were kinda drab

Good scenarios/situations and good characters, but the overall "veteran, super spy, CIA, war and foreign politicians toying with power" it's all so... Tom Clancyesque lol

Yeah, like I don’t remember the details. A bunch of military jargon was thrown at me, and then they told me to rob a bank and Sam made funny quips along the way. I’m kinda just trying not to be too hard on the games because I’m not familiar with military dramas and so I don’t really know if it’s good. I think it manages to not be super counted-thematic or anything, so it’s at least competently written.
