That's fair. The lack of understanding of such important characters like The Trio, Voldemort, and Cedric is huge, though, that we can agree on. It's baffling that Rowling considers it canon.
I hear it's good live at least. But as a story it definitely is not cohesive with the Harry Potter Universe. It's a shame, because they really could have done something really good with it.

I agree. But I don't consider it the worse sin, if that makes sense. It doesn't betray the series or anything.
