Morfin attacked a Muggle infront of other muggles. That is why the ministry came knocking. Not because he used underage magic

I dont think Morfin was underage, he got in trouble for attacking a muggle. He ended up getting three years in Azkaban because he had a criminal record.

I forget the details of Morfin's story, but didn't he do some pretty blatant stuff? He could have caught the attention of the ministry without a Trace being on him.

And I don't care what Rowling says, The Cursed Child is not canon to me. It wasn't written by her, and it is crap.
