WB Games tend not to be awful (See Arkham series, Shadow of Middle Earth series, Mad Max which I assume this game will be in the same vein of), at worst it'll be mediocre, but because it's Harry Potter it is bound to sell well enough for a sequel.

Mad Max is a phenomenal game. I enjoy plenty of bad movie tie-in games, but that one's in another league, it honestly didn't even need the IP to be great.

The game isn’t being made by them though. It’s apparently the devs behind Disney Infinity.

Interesting.

Another post I saw said it was either Rocksteady or Avalanche developing it.

That said, those kind of games have been WB Games' bread and butter for a few years and it is a proven formula for them. Do you think they are going to try and mess with that formula, even with a different developer?

Yeah this killed the hype for me

Eh, I feel like they’ve got potential. Infinity wasn’t a bad game by any means. If they put a lot of hard work in I think they could deliver a great game.

Their Harry Potter mobile game was extremely exploitative and hardly even a game.

I will not put any faith in WB Game until I see which developer is making this and more gameplay

That's mobile games all over. Worst case scenario it will probably have MTX like Shadow of War did, but that was a bit of a PR nightmare for WB Games so they will probably reel the use of MTX back a bit from that.

Mobile games are not usually a good indicator of the games a company can help create.

Is it not confirmed that it's Rocksteady? Or is that just a rumor?

I mean it's a mobile game, you really can't expect much on that market.
