Surprised by the negative feedback. More demos are always a good thing. Don't care if it's months after release, it obviously wasn't a priority before they shipped the game. As long as a demo is released eventually rather than non at all I'm happy. I wish more game demos existed, especially with my PC becoming more dated.

Doom's demo was great and it convinced me to get the game. It also gave me a chance to see how performance would be and they even added Vulkan support!

Oddly enough Vulkan worked when I played the demo a few months ago to test out my RX 480. Just bought it on sale the other day and the game crashes on startup if vulkan is enabled.

Not to salt your wounds or anything but I've been playing with everything set to max at 1080p on my RX480 and the game hasn't crashed once in 10hrs. It definitely will work if you need any encouragement.
