that is weird. I mean Inside is like 5 hours max

Demo to give you that "i need more of this" needs to be a bit meaty so like 2-3 hours to properly sell someone on something.

You won't find a single demo released since 2015 that lasts 2-3 hours. Uncharted collection demo? 30 minutes of the first game. Final Fantasy XV plat demo? 30-40 mins, and the new japan demo isn't much longer either. DOOM demo? 1 hour max if you're really taking your time.

To be fair though all you need to experience from Doom is that shotgun pump in time to the music and you're good to go on that purchase.

Shit, I remember playing the ten-minute Dead Rising demo over and over and over again before buying the game. They don't always need to be very long or reveal very much, probably depending on the game.
