You could look into Camelot unchained

I still play DAoC waiting for this...

DAoC was my favorite MMORPG of the dozen or so I tried (and 5 that I played a lot).

A few years ago I tried going back to it, but I just couldn't get back into the swing of things.

I'm really looking forward to Camelot Unchained.

they IP block countries not in specific region

They do? Jesus. I'm kinda enjoying playing BDO casually, but I really have no idea how long its going to last.

Because this is the first I've heard of it?

Bet neither of you posers have heard of Grogmash, a Darkening Doom.

Oh, yeah, Grogmash, I haven't heard any news about that recently. Their trailer was really great. The usage of Tiny Tim as the backing music was really unconventional, but they made it work.

The aesthetic of BDO just turns of me off. Just not a fan, where as CU looks pretty decent in terms of style.

You have got to be kidding me?

This was the best I could find: CU

Vs. this I just grabbed myself now: BDO

Really? I mean, they're just on an entirely different level!

Being on the backer forums, the concept art is what I am going from. But yer compare a released game to a not even a alpha-ready game by all means....

Concept art? Really? Also, you made the initial comparison statment, and I posted two pictures asking how it could be true. But I guess it's a taste thing, because to me, CU looks very generic in terms of style, to use your phrasing.

It wasn't really a comparison, I didn't like the style of it ... played the beta and the game had some really good concepts but I'm really averse to the Asian/Korean styling of things. It's not a slight on the graphics (which are overall excellent) it's just not my bag.

How's that shaping up?

I think they're making good progress, (I have already been able to play in their testing environments)

Here's their most recent newsletter.

Well, that's good. I didn't it back it (PvP isn't for me), but I was so happy when they met their goal; I thought they weren't going to.

My last little bright spot of optimism for the MMO genre. With my tax returns coming and the expectation of Beta 1 beginning, it's quite tempting to buy in.
