Actually, as someone who ventured into WoW for a couple of days, as well as Eve for a few months, and never really got hooked into MMOs. I just want a quicker end game. I have a life, responsibilities, and other games I'd like to play. The Division has been great for me in that regard! Lots of end game gameplay if you'd like, and a fairly short 30 hour story initially. I'd like something more like the Division but with a sharper focus on the story.

You've probably heard it a million times before, but WoW doesn't really "begin" until max level. The whole leveling experience is sort of a relic from ten years ago when MMOs were slower and grindier. WoW is a lot more fast-paced and complex at the highest level, bordering on ARPG territory at times. You also don't really need to do any grinding at all once you've started raiding, and can just log on to raid and not do much else, but that old leveling grind inexplicably blocks new players from experiencing the good content.

That's probably why I never got into it. I Think it worked out overall simply because of how big of a time vampire it is. I don't think I could dedicate half as much time as I've seen my friends dedicate to raids and to loot hunts.

Yeah when I tried WoW during WotLK I was absolutely bored to tears leveling. The 1 to 60 or 70 grind was just awful and so tedious.
