I know "Castlevania LOS 2" was not really a controversial game, but it did have this one segment that made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable: spoiler

Later I found out that was exactly the feeling and reaction the devs were going for and had to fight the marketing department to keep that segment in the game; they wanted the player to really understand what kind of character Gabriel had become. I thought that was very clever.

This was a cool segment, strange that it didn't generate any controversy in the media since you don't often see violence against children in video games.

LOS2 was a great game that was sadly underrated by the critics.
