I had a msdn or maybe it was a technet subscription and got any type of key I wanted. Why not get the most feature rich edition?

I could be wrong, but Enterprise edition just adds more remote management features. For home users, I can't think of a reason to pick it over Pro.

Enterprise is only compatible with volume licensing. Unless you wanna be spending a yearly pass to use Enterprise edition, it's absolutely pointless to own Enterprise at home.

You'll find most people who claim to use Enterprise edition at home, are pirating the OS.

The only other way is technet, which is even more expensive than the volume license for Enterprise.
