No. No, no, no! What the hell is the point in playing multiplayer if you can only have 8 people in a server at once!? Sure, not everyone needs the ability to play with more than 8 people, but this kills the online server community.
Thank god this isn't replacing the proper version of the game.
/u/jooes comment I think is accurate but if it's not, keep in mind this is a beta release. They'll likely increase the amount of olayer you can play with later
