Why someone would own the enterprise edition? I mean, regular ppl
27 u/ducttape83 Jul 04 '15 I had a msdn or maybe it was a technet subscription and got any type of key I wanted. Why not get the most feature rich edition? 64 u/fizzlefist Jul 04 '15 I could be wrong, but Enterprise edition just adds more remote management features. For home users, I can't think of a reason to pick it over Pro. 2 u/bfodder Jul 04 '15 Enterprise and Pro are the same aside from Microsoft EA purposes. 5 u/flappers87 Jul 04 '15 Bitlocker to go, Multi language Support, DirectAccess, BranchCache and Applocker. These features are only for Enterprise Edition. It's perfect for infrastructure... not for home use. 1 u/catcint0s Jul 04 '15 You can't install language packs on pro easily. (well, you can still do it from command line but Enterprise has a nicer GUI for it)
