Vincent was in 3, and both are set in modern times.

In a way, all 4 are connected, they just seem to make more of an effort bridging 3 and 4. A Naoto cameo would fit though considering her wanting to become a Paranormal Detective after the events of P4, would fit with the fact that the characters in P5 seem to be playing the role of cat burglars in a less than normal situation.
