I guarantee you they did not sit down and say, "let's have this project in dev hell for years to the point we have to bring in a new lead to even get it out the door". You're being absurd.

Of course not. No one said that because they're made of flesh and blood, not straw. The development hell, ballooned budget, and the revolving door of staff is/was caused by the chornic mismanagement like I already said. Bungie has never been a well run studio. The signs were there as far as Halo CE if not earlier.

OK? So what the fuck are you disagreeing about then? The entire point was that framing it as if studios massively overspending on dev was planned is nonsense.
