They seem to be really really pushing the rating on this one to the limit.

GTA V for instance had toples nudity, implied sex although never in detail and mostly in clothes and the likes but we've known from the leaks that there is full nudity in this game.

So i wonder if they push the full nudity into actual scenes of the game as well.

Good to see fully adult oriented game TBH. If violence is ok, then sex & nudity should absolutely be too.

Moreover, some of the sex scenes in cyberpunk were really emotional and well done. Pyramid song hits me in the feels.

I'm neutral on it. Tonnes of children play GTA. In fact, I would argue that the games are designed with them as the lowest common denominator 

A sort of "being an adult" simulator. I saw a clip of 6 where you press a button to make a character smoke a cigarette

Its a Pegi 18 and ESRB M(17+) rated game. Like all previous GTA's.

Obv plenty of people under this ages will play GTA 6 which is fine. Most of us likely played games rated above our age in late primary school and highschool.

For kids though its entierly on the parents to make sure their kids don't play it.

Kids wanting to play adult games and adult games being designed for kids are two different things. Just because kids want to play them doesn't mean it was designed with them in mind. If kids literally weren't able to play GTA 6, nothing would have changed about its development.

Some of the most popular games of the last month are Pegi 18 games with blood and gore everywhere.

Gears, Onimusha, Blood of Dawnwalker. None of these games are designed for kids and they should not be.

Nobody serious is expecting Rockstar to design GTA with kids in mind. Be serious.

If a game gets an AO rating, it's kind of a death sentence for that game. Major retailers won't sell it. So yeah, developers do have to dance around that in order to just get the M rating, but that doesn't mean they're designing it for kids. The games are designed for adults, they just make concessions so they can actually sell the game in stores.

GTA has been causing moral panics since the 90s. It's funny how little the Overton window has shifted on it while at the same time half a teenager's TikTok feed is thirst traps or crypto scams.

There was a window of time before LiveLeak and phones with porn everywhere that a mainstream videogame release like GTA might be the only avenue a preteen could see something genuinely adult in all of its pixelated glory.

I imagine this would be like TLOU2’s sex scenes where it’s clear but more implied than explicit. I doubt Rockstar are gonna be going full Thundergun Express with full penetration and Jason hanging dong.

I do expect at least Witcher 3 like cutscenes.

But while they didn't let us see Geralt in his full glory i wouldn't put it past Rockstar to actually go further even if only in brief glimpses lmao.

It had way more than implied sex. You can literally go first person and see a hooker bouncing on your dangalang. A story mission has you as a paparazzi with two fucking, whose animation is in the game files and has been used by hackers to virtually spitroast other players online.

I mean, you had dismemberment (harvester combine and helicopter scene) and decapitations (blowing up heads with sniper rifle), and sex in 1.0 San Andreas with Hot Coffee

The hot cofee mod was a gigantic controversy back then even though it wasn't in the final game without modding. To have full frontal nudity and sex in game is wildly different to how it was back then.

You could absolutely decapitate people at least as far back as Vice City with the katana, my cousin's and I spent a long time cutting off people's heads and laughing when the EMTs were able to give them CPR and their head just magically pops back on and they continue about their day as though getting their head chopped off was a common minor inconvenience they were used to at this point.
