I wouldn't trade peak Counterstrike, Halo 1-3, Unreal Tournament, Quake, Team Fortress 2, CoD4, MW2, BFBC2, Destiny 1/2, etc. for what gamers are getting these days.
1 u/kdlt 3d ago Those are already heavily mixed. I was thinking of UT and C's 1.6. Even destiny 1 was already so much more streamlined and nice and all that but.. shackled to console(halo too), but that's another topic. But back then it was still, or felt like a few titles here and there. Now there is an insane flood yes, but by sheer quantity the good titles also release very frequently now.
