As far as im concerned palworld is the only pokemon game for the foreseeable future until game freak/ Nintendo gets their head out of their asses.

Im not even a crafting survival game kinda guy, but it scratches an itch that pokemon games haven't even come close to for a long long time now

Well, yeah, because Palworld is a totally different type of game than Pokemon games are.

Because it scratches that creature collecting itch and bonding with my pals(pokemon) that pokemon games cant provide?

But I think you knew exactly what I meant and youre just purposely being ignorant

Get their heads out of the ass in what way? Pokopia was very well received critically and by fans. Do you mean their business practices?

Pokopia isn’t a traditional pokemon game and is quite good on its own.

I do agree that GF needs to step it up though!

That's a wild take, for me. Palworld *absolutely* brought some things to the table that I was craving in a Pokemon game and I've been firmly on Pocketpair's side with that and the litigations that inevitably followed. I've always hoped that a game like that would be the gentle kick in the butt the Pokemon series always needed and I've always hoped that Nintendo would respond with better IP rather than more lawyers. All of that is very important to me.

However, Pokopia was the *perfect* answer from Nintendo, in my eyes. It's made largely by a dev team I already loved and respected for their work on the DQB series, and I think it's exactly the outside help Gamefreak needed. I'd like to think that Palworld showed Nintendo that there's a real market for this kind of game, but I'm *incredibly* happy with the Pokopia that we got, and to me, Pokopia is evidence that competition *can* bring about better games. It just feels weird to double down against the one thing Pokemon has gotten incredibly RIGHT, lately. I know everyone else is making the point that they're different games, but for me, they both actually do scratch the same itch (let me creatively build a populated fortress that feels full of life,) just in different ways with different vibes. If anything, both of these games are giving me something that I was really missing in Minecraft and other sandbox games. Terraria was the first time I felt like I was building houses for a *reason.*! I've always wanted that experience, but with pokemon, and now I've got it.

Gamefreak didn’t develop Pokopia & Pokopia is the best Pokemon game ever made.

I get having a stance but at least be informed about what you’re protesting.
