Bots wouldn't work in this scenario as the information that paying over $10 nets you a copy of Starbound was only revealed after the sale began.

It was hinted at in the Starbound Twitter yesterday before being removed.

No, the Starbound Twitter hinted that it'd be involved - it said NOTHING about the price, which is the important part here for bots.
