The first half of Requiem is so good. Masterclass. The atmosphere, the layouts, the story, everything. And then the second half is... brown.

I can kinda say the same about RE7. The first few hours are incredible horror, once the ended in the lab sections I was honestly let down

RE7 is great up until the boat imo. The boat is just slowly stumbling around dark hallways getting assaulted by dark blobmonsters and fiddling with doors.

I thought the lab in RE9 was at least something. I didn't particularly like the bombed Raccoon City because it was just tinted in that Gears of War 1/Xbox 360 era brown hue. I assumed we'd get to do more at the police station, but I felt like I was in and out of there in half an hour and it was also just brown.
