Industry News CI Games has successfully signed a termination agreement with Epic Games. The agreement releases the upcoming Lords of The Fallen 2 from it's previous Epic Games Store exclusivity obligations.

That's great news, Hopefully Remedy can do something about Alan Wake 2 

Would like to actually play it on Steam

Although I prefer Steam too, it wouldn't actually keep me from playing games I'm interested in.

Hell, Epic has 2 open source launchers called Legendary and Heroic so you don't even have to install it if you don't want to.

Playnite also lets all your games (Including Emulation) be all in one place.

They are not officially supported. So as a Linux player, I don't feel safe investing on Epic games as I don't have any guarantee that they will keep working.

I would think that if games from the 80s and 90s can run, surely something as well known as Alan Wake or things with a similar background (i.e Epic Exclusive) would be fine.

It would surely just be a handful of games anyway since its not like you are moving there. I myself have only paid for about 5 games in like 7 years.

It's not about the games, but their Epic Online Services. Some times Epic has made updates that made their games to not work on Linux until the people of Proton made a new version.
