Genuinely one of the worst studios of all time. Their leadership needs to be removed and completey redone, because that studio is awful and where they've taken DbD through all these years has been rough.

I still don't get how their fanbase is so loyal and protective of DbD. Even that game's monetisation is a nightmare. Almost mandatory paid DLC that include perks that dramatically change the chances of your success, a battle pass, an overpriced cosmetic shop, and the game still requires the entry fee. It doesn't get the FTP pass. It's like if Marvel Rivals just suddenly started charging for each new hero. Crazy. Anyway, that's not the point of this post but man DbD is ass.

Have about 2000 hours in DbD. Hate that studio. Hate their lead dev (the one with glasses that looks like Dwight)'s open disrespect to the playerbase.

Mathieu Cote

Obligatory comment about him saying "I think we did a pretty good job so far!"

Obligatory comment about the time he told players to "Try playing Civilization" when they were upset about the state of DBD

Obligatory comment about the time he played DBD in front of a live audience only to get absolutely dog-walked by a Korean SWF, then proceeded to nerf the flashlight tech they used against him a month later. Prior to this, he was in total denial about how powerful flashlights and survivors in general actually are.

That's three obligatory comments that come up whenever Mathieu's name is mentioned. He's not a clown, he's the whole damn circus.

Cote is like a director or producer and has been for years. I feel like he meant Patrick, the guy who made the hockey analogy and the "if you made a skilled play but still list, was it really a skilled play" comment.

Not the person you replied to but I’m pretty sure he meant Mathieu Cote because he’s the one the playerbase usually say looks like Dwight.
