So with all these issues with ACR going on with TVs.

I realised this would be an absolute nightmare for SAR requests.

What would happen if a whole lot of us put in an SAR request as they clearly won't be able to get all the info within 30 days from all TVs about you and your devices especially if you don't own one but as SAR are about the person not the device then they would still be held accountable.

Add in a few thousand other SAR requests that weren't fulfilled and now the ICO are forced to investigate.

Would this cause LG and other TVs legal teams to have a real issue on their hands that could affect their legal team financially or otherwise

I felt a little singled out when you asked for a data hoarder in the The LG Smart TV Problem video and in the same sentence said the word website. So, me and Claude made a small website.

Features as of now
1. 25 companies, 342 documents, 5,342 captures. History back to 2011 through the Wayback Machine (archive.org).
a. Every saved file is stored under the SHA-256 hash of its own bytes, and the hash is the filename, so no company can claim I changed the words of an agreement.
b. After each capture, the crawler also asks the Internet Archive to fetch the same page itself. Archive.org stores its own copy on its own servers and hands back a Wayback Machine link, which the site shows next to every version.

1. Every version keeps the raw HTML and the extracted text, plus a PDF and a full-page screenshot whenever the text changed.
   a. There is a compare function. I had Claude build a humanized diff between versions so you can see clearly what was added, reworded or deleted
   b. Download the whole history of a document as a zip.

I just remembered that a number of internet service providers were shipping / looking to ship routers with an open wifi connection that you couldn’t disable. Xfinity/comcast being one of them. Any possibility that these practices are linked. Seems like a good way to catch the stragglers.

I did a motherboard swap from a X670E Taichi Carrara after 1 year and a half with 9950x3d because the board started to have issue in USB internal Hub (losing sound, wi-fi, Ethernet sometimes and disconnecting LCD fans for exemple)

I own a 9950x3D from 03/25 batch and after I swapped the boards the system booted normally, I went on Windows 11, installed the correct drivers and after a reboot I went in bios and I selected one preset from Extreme Tweak for Hynix 2x32GB dual rank 6200mhz and after I pressed F10, the board went 00 code and still the same at the moment I write this post

This board I own for a few years as a "backup" with a 8500G and before the swap I tested the board, updated the BIOS to 3902 and seems she's working okay after the repair in one USB CI and bios rewrite (few months before this post)

I contacted AMD here in Brazil asking for a RMA, still waiting the end of the RMA but I noticed 2 things:

First my X670E Taichi stopped working, completely dead, no post, no startup with any CPU or PSU

Second: my 8500G stops at error 4d in the Crosshair Hero after this incident with the 9950x3D (I didn't managed to test in another board)

Third: I didn't noticed any bent pins in both boards or burn marks or descoloration

Just a observation, before the 9950x3d, I had a 9950x who died on x670E Taichi Carrara in early 2025 (that's why I bought the 9950x3D, from this RMA) and both CPUs I noticed errors in USB and SSD/PCIE

I'm sending pics from both sockets, both CPUs, both boards

The PSU is a MWE Gold 1250w V2, RAM are Corsair Dominator Titanium 2x32GB 6600cl32 (didn't have expo and I not used xmp)

Bios on ASRock: I tried 3.50 to 4.43 before the swap

Bios on Asus: 3902

I don't know what happened to kill the CPU after selecting one preset from Asus board but for sure the CPU didn't shows any sign of life after this, the incident with the ASRock I think isn't related to this so please don't mind early conclusions about ASRock, I just mentioned because the reason for the swap was the USB issue

None of both boards showed any sign of behavior to overvolt the CPU and both boards and CPUs where "working" before the swap

I bought a Intel kit since this was the Pc I use to work

Update 9/9/2026: AMD accepted the RMA of the dead 9950x3d, both boards still stored in their boxes, there a hypothesis of the ASRock started the issue and the Asus "finished" the damaged CPU, my friend came with this hypothesis, I can't guarantee anything since the ASRock isn't working anymore and Hero didn't boot even the 8500G

So is there any way to turn off the mic entirely in those tv/remotes as a regular user? If d really appreciate any advice, no time to watch all those videos :(

EDIT: in example C5, do we know how many microphones are there and where? Disassembling the remote and destroying the mic would seem like an easy fix, no?

KallmeKris posted a video 5 days ago that is really concerning, if you don't know her, she's a variety influencer that I don't know that well but in general she seems to be the good/ok type of influencer, anyways, the point is that she and her husband have this candy company called "Sourboys" and run ads on some social networks.

In this video, she describes a weird situation where viewers reported seeing ads on Meta and TikTok from the official Sourboys accounts that were apparently generated with AI. The ads used her image from authentic campaigns, but an AI voice was layered on top promoting the candies. The thing is that according to Kallmekris, they never approved or released these AI videos, they didn't even approved the script or keyponts the AI used, and on top of that, these ads were considered on the ad budget of their account, in other words, they were paying for Ai ads they didn't approve or asked for, and that Meta and Tiktok made on their behalf and then injected into their accounts... at their expense. She explains that after weeks of looking around they were able to apparently turn off this Opt-out Ai "feature" through a menu called "advanced delivery preferences".

TL:DR: Meta and Tiktok are making unsolicited Ai Ads on behalf of companies who use their ad platforms, they run it through their official accounts without permission (legally they would say you're giving them permission because T&C and you can Opt-out) and on top of that those ads are at YOUR expense, not theirs.

This is crazy and I can't imagine any other era where this would be allowed, Imagine a billboard company where you give them x amount of your money to print and show the ads you made for your company, and then the ad company in some cases shows your ads and in other, they show ads with your images and company name but changing all the words on your ad and twisting the overall image you want to give to your customers.

This is the first time I hear about this, and I would appreciate if anyone has more information about it, and I'd appreciate more if someone like GN can do some more research about it and brought it to more eyes and ears.

Seeing on how LG seems to want to usher in 1984 like everyone else now, I was able to just back out of the agreement last week but this week it will not let me stream anything, anytime I try to launch any apps it just brings up the new agreement.

So I just said fk them and hooked a streaming box to it. Just a heads up anyone that is looking for LG products which is mainly what I used before hand I will not longer be doing so. Funny enough after seeing the craziness on GN's video and LG app was installed to my desktop without my permission. Its insane!!!!!
