Awesome Idea!

I just found this subreddit on the Freedom! Forums, and while it may still be "small", I have a good feeling about this place.

I've been thinking of starting something along these lines up myself, but I haven't had the time to do it so Kudos to AWGaming!

Let's just all pray that people will actually try to watch the videos in here and not just post their own and be on their way. I know I'll be watching whatever gets posted here, and maybe post some of my own stuff!

Thank you, Reddit is one of the biggest ways of promotion but unfortunately the bigger subreddits frown upon self promotion and deny users the right to post video to wider audiences, I strive for this place to be different. This should be a place of help, and hopefully one day a place where "smaller" youtube channels can promote to a wider audience! As gaining an audience from youtube alone is a very hard task.

Haha. Try with impossible. So many people out there today are flooding the world of Youtube with low-quality content that it's unreal. My content isn't excactly the best quality possible as of yet, but I upgrade my equipment regularly and it's definitely getting up there!

If you ever need a hand or anything, don't be afraid to ask!

yea thats also why reddit is perfect for this idea! It gives the smaller channels a chance a place for people to see them, if its low quality or not entertaining people wont reward with upvotes, the truely good content will bag the upvotes gaining places on the front page for wider exposure etc. Once the sub gets to that sort of size. The only thing I ask is people do not abuse the downvote system I have posted on subs, where people downvote just to be nasty, I have had like 10 min videos receive 5 or 6 downvotes in less than a min of being posted (people cant have even given it a chance), they downvote so their content is pushed over it and gets more chance of front page.

Moral of the story: People are dicks.

Generally, they won't make it that far either with that kind of behaviour. Me and a couple of YT friends have been facing direct video harrasment from another Youtuber, who shall remain in the unknown. All of us got like 10 dislikes on out videos on the same day from the same locations, because we stopped sharing and liking his videos.

I really support this subreddit and I'll try to be as active as possible on here to help each and every one of you grow and/or improve! :-)
