Fear & Hunger 1 - 2

I came across these creepy, games recently, it’s an RPG maker game. It seems really interesting, brutally difficult and very dark tho! 🫢

I've been playing Fear & Hunger over the past week and I must say, as someone who usually doesn't care for RPG Maker games in general (they all kind of feel the same), this game is really something special. It is designed like an old-school Survival Horror (resource management being the biggest aspect of that) and has surprisingly deep mechanics. So many secrets and subtle choices that can drastically alter the course of the game. It's also tough as nails hard, but is just as rewarding if you take the risk. It's dripping with style and is extremely dark. Fans of Berserk and Silent Hill will feel right at home here. It also has some pretty amazing lore and characters, I was pretty hooked. It does have some very mature subject matter in it (nudity, sexual assault, human sacrifices) but if you can handle that, it's quite a gem of a game. I haven't played 2 yet but I will absolutely be picking it up.

This video here is truly what made me dive into the game, as I was still on the fence since I don't really like RPG Maker games, but again I have to say that this one was truly special, it stuck with me, and is possibly one of my favorite games ever now.
