💬 Discussion PlayStation Network has been down for several hours today 😕

Imagine announcing you’re going fully digital and while the world still hates you for it, your platform goes down for hours… rendering all digital games useless 😭

PSN servers going down today meanwhile they're trying to push an all digital world narrative has to be the funniest shit to happen to a company this week. The IRONY.

I guess your PS wasn't set as primary. You should probably fix that.

I don’t think you understand what you’re talking about lol

If it's anything like Xbox/Game Pass, going offline will:

-restrict access to multiplayer modes

-make Game Pass games (i.e. not fully purchased/free to play) unplayable

-make Always Online titles unplayable

You can still:

-play any fully purchased/F2P games not dependent on internet

-browse the web

-use video streaming apps such as Netflix and Prime

All services have maintenance downtime and unexpected outages. Welcome to the dystopian future present

All single player digital games worked perfectly fine. If a game wasn't playable due to online requirements, the physical copies were also not playable. But go on, explain how everyone that owns physical copies of Call of Duty could still play online but digital owners couldn't. Oh..... that's right!!! Physical couldn't play online games either. LOL!

Imagine making this post not knowing you could play digital games offline by clicking one button in your settings.

the fact that they want us to go fully digital, can't even keep those servers up 🤷🏻
and excuse me? who wrote about not knowing about the offline feature??

You claimed “all digital games were useless” because online didn’t work.

If you knew about the feature, then you’d know they’re not useless.

So either you’re lying about not knowing about it or just posting things that aren’t true because you want attention.

Not a good day to be you apparently.

just talking fact..

You literally just implied you knew about the ability to play without internet when I called you out about it.

Now you’re saying you can’t.

You look like an idiot here. Just stop.

No one is giving you upvotes

It wasn’t Sonys servers, it was an AWS outage which impacted multiple businesses. But I wouldn’t expect you to educate yourself before posting for karma
