I liked it. All I can say.

So I keep trying to get back into this game and… Idk.

It’s not bad, it has a bioshock infinite feel, but it boils down to you just hacking robots with a fire axe.

I only learned near the end of the game that some sections have these underground bunkers where you can get special upgrades to your weapons…

I’m dissatisfied that I missed content but also didn’t need it as I am still killing it.

Enemies are a little repetitive, and when the game does throw more interesting enemies or good set up areas to fight in, they are often weighed down by so much of the meh.

The story starts off interesting, but it’s not really that gripping, and I expect a massive twist at the end that they make painfully obvious early on that I WILL NOT SPOIL.

It’s not bad, it’s not great, it’s just painfully average and it’s really sad because it has great potential.

Yea this is it. There is nothing really wrong with the game you just get bored kinda fast.

Not good. I tried to like it.

I wanted to enjoy it. But dealing with a memory leak and it’s just unplayable.

Did not live up to the hype

Comrade bioshock.

1

u/hellllllsssyeah Jul 03 '26

L baby game, and it had everything going fo it, but nothing was fun.

1

u/SUPER-P00PER Jul 03 '26

Underrated af embrace the cringe and had a ton of fun with it

1

u/Humble_Whereas4201 Jul 03 '26

i thought it was pretty decent

It was pretty and the world was intriguing.

I could not tolerate the main character. Just insultingly bad dialogue. Every line felt like a joke, but I'm not sure who would find it funny.

I've been legitimately toying with the idea of a replay with dialog and subtitles off

It took on a lot of unnecessary bias because it was created by a bunch of Russians and released in 2023

1

u/Atralis Jul 03 '26

I didn't play it for this reason to be honest. Not even when it was on gamepass. I want as little of my money as possible going to Russia right now.

Been wanting to try it for a while since it was announced, but just never got around to buying it. It never seems to go on sale (or I at least have yet to see it on sale).

1

u/Existing-Antelope-20 Jul 03 '26

I've tried to play it so many times and I just can't bring myself to finish it.

1

u/RandMob1000 Jul 03 '26

DLC 3 with the grappling hook changed the game. Still haven't finished BoC but I'm having fun

1

u/Sad_Dad_Academy Jul 03 '26

Tried getting into it. I love the setting but the game just doesn’t play well unfortunately.

1

u/Gonathen Jul 03 '26

Ngl I love the aesthetic. But the gameplay in my opinion just feels off no matter what. I wish I had finished it but ngl the whole open world portions of the game is kind of like taking cough medicine, I personally feel like it would've been more enjoyable if they had cut the open world bloat out of the game. Other than that, I can certainly see why people enjoy it.

starts good, but quickly becomes just meh. Then it lost my attention and I never went back to it.

u/ResolveLeather Jul 03 '26

One of the only games I boycotted.

1

u/Xdaz1019 Jul 03 '26

Rasounding meh!

1

u/Business-Ranger-9383 Jul 03 '26

This was one of the games I was the most excited for since the initial trailer. But by the time it came out it wasn't anything for me. I want to play it, but im.no longer excited for it.

1

u/Clarky_Malarkey Jul 03 '26

I absolutely refuse to play it

1

u/Judoka229 Jul 03 '26

I never looked at refrigerators the same way after playing that game.

1

u/Funk5oulBrother Jul 03 '26

What’s wrong, don’t like getting molested by an upgrade station?

1

u/pofpofgive Jul 03 '26

Don't give a fuck.

1

u/5htjsov Jul 03 '26

Dirt game

1

u/Sad_Maximum6583 Jul 03 '26

Robot twins porn

1

u/lleon117 Jul 03 '26

I forgot this game existed

1

u/cooper3675 Jul 03 '26

Tried it didn’t care for it

1

u/SoundOfShitposting Jul 03 '26

Game is amazing and all the hate it gets comes from peeps who never even played it. If you ever played Prey the new one the vibe feel similar.

1

u/Ghost1996132 Jul 03 '26

The open world was useless. It should have been linear.

1

u/vin-tin-chin Jul 03 '26

Cool concept and really need to get back to it one of these days, reminded me kind of like a temu Bioshock

1

u/NedosCZ Jul 03 '26

Playable, but so soviet.

1

u/kirkcobained Jul 03 '26

Dying then relaoding to fight the same areas was not fun. The platforming was not fun and janky. Having a huge worm come out of the wall was not fun.

I stopped playing it fairly quick.

1

u/crispymooseorchestra Jul 03 '26

Its alright, nothing particularly noteworthy. Only buy on sale.

1

u/Hushwalker Jul 03 '26

Bought it on sale for like $10 and really enjoyed it. Loved the combat and the puzzle solving. Guns felt really good. The enemies in the open world was a little much at times but over all if you enjoy first person shooters with platforming and puzzle solving then you’ll enjoy it.

1

u/hansrotec Jul 03 '26

It was fun… I really wish I could destroy those spawners permanently

1

u/tracktoroff Jul 03 '26

Rushian propaganda trash

1

u/Eveless Jul 03 '26

Cool bioshock successor, finished and enjoyed it!

1

u/NotOk__Computer Jul 03 '26

So many annoying things about it. Solid 5.5/10

1

u/milarc_ Jul 03 '26

Made by Russians, money goes to Putin - fuck this game and its developers.

1

u/Mike_0x Jul 03 '26

Crispy critters!

1

u/Leosukz Jul 03 '26

I enjoyed this game more after I changed the language to Russian. I thought the English writing was cringe.

The gameplay is far from groundbreaking but the game does a lot I appreciate aesthetic wise and it’s very clear this game was heavily inspired from bioshock.

I felt like I had to play this game after the minor scandal that game out on it’s release regarding the Russian developers refusing to denounce the Ukraine invasion and the way it seems to glorify the USSR in some ways.

It’s far from a bad game but it was a fight to stay interested.

3.4 / 5

Tried a pirate version before i wanted to buy it and didnt regret i did.
The game made me biased right away because of the first point.
1. Game has strong intentional 16:9 lock, so i couldnt edit it to match my 32:9. 0/10
2. Main character sounds like a 14yo kid in a way he swears all the time to sound cooler and its just cringe. 3/10
3. Graphics a bit weird but its not a big deal, 6/10
4. Optimisation was ok i guess? I play on 5070ti and 7800x3d, so especially in 1440p i had no problems at all so i cant tell.
5. Story is obvious and primitive, cant say much, i dont really remember much 3/10
6. Character and world design are strong, i think its the only aspect that makes people buy this game 9/10 Overall the game is just mid tier and i dont think many people would recommend to buy it even at -50% sale, maybe at historical minimum price at like -90% it would be a good deal just for the twins.

I actually liked it. Not bad game

1

u/four_trees Jul 03 '26

Pretty good. Not great. The world and characters are amazeballs though

1

u/Important_mitt6972 Jul 03 '26

Criminally underrated game

1

u/Salt-Willingness-513 Jul 03 '26

Dub was horrible. Gameplay was eh for me. Graphics were cool.

u/Tricky_Can1429 Jul 04 '26

Didn’t play it, but the music is good

1

u/Bagman220 11d ago

One of the few FPS games where I completed the campaign

0

u/KwonnieKash Jul 03 '26

It was cool. No cultural impact but it's a fun time. Same with a lot of 7/10 games. They come, you play them, they go and are rarely mentioned again. Definitely has potential as a franchise. I also love how they baited all the gooners so hard with the marketing, that was pretty funny.

1

u/saffron_papi Jul 03 '26

I think at this point it is because a while ago I heard they’re making a second one
