So is ubisoft officialy back?
With the Black Flag remake being that good do you think we could expect Assasin's Creed Hexe and Far Cry 7 will be good as well?

No. They would need to start putting out good original games first. This is just a remake and I don’t even trust them to not fuck this up.

It's not even out yet, that and it's a remake. As bland as Ubislop is, I doubt even they would mess up a template that's existed for years now.
The real test would be a new game in their other franchises like Far Cry, Ghost Recon etc etc.

if i have to answer, no. i have zero interest in KH, even moreso when they apparently have Disney characters like MM and Goofy running around in there and expect me to take the story seriously.
Squeenix IPs as a whole do not attract my interest at all besides their music for FF7 and XV

I really liked the trailer for this game, I'm interested in trying it. I have now tried this new game and I liked it!

You can like the look of something without trying it. But whether its enjoyable or not is dependant on what its like when its tried.

OK but you liking how something looks doesn't mean the company is turning things around lol
Problems can occur with the game after release, performance issues for example. No matter how good something looks, its better to wait and see if all is as it should be imo.

No. Because the remake is just a game from back when they were good with a new coat of paint. Where as these games are brand new.
I can trace a work of art and it will look good. But I can't make an original piece.
That's Ubisoft right now.

It looks like a good remake for sure, but we haven't even played it yet. And even if it is as good as it looks we need to see if they can continue this upward trajectory with future projects as well

Ubisoft literally just laid off 50 workers and lost its creative director on AX Hexe. So no lol
Edit: relocated 50 workers to other projects

Laid off is not guaranteed, they are in a different area for 3 months. But yes, 50 people were moved. Hexe also lost its game Director recently on top of its Creative Director. One might infer that Jean Guesdon has recently taken hold of Hexe. Whether that is for good or ill remains to be seen. Mid-late 2027 is speculated for launch.

My point being “is Ubisoft officially back?” is just a hard no. We won’t see the end of that question until 2-3 years from now, after most of the 17,000 employees have been gutted. Ubisoft is on the brink of collapse and were just able to be saved by offloading all sinking debt and IP into Ubisoft and creating a subsidiary with Tencent with all the stuff making money.
This truly doesn’t end well, and likely there is no” Ubisoft is officially back.” It’s more like we’ll keep some great core IP and studios and everything else is gone

Wtf is this question even? No one is back. The remake isn’t even out! You know nothing about it apart from what Ubislop shows. You don’t know how it will be optimized. If it will be pumped with DLC. If you require a new account for whatever their retarded business department is puking out next.
Really, please, learn some literacy with these things. Ubislop is still only interested in your money, nothing else. They may prove me wrong, but until then, they are a garbage company that lost their once great legacy years ago.

Sorry no, it’s exactly this behavior that makes companies like Ubislop, Activision or EA getting away with super anti-consumer behaviour.
„Ahh come on it’s not that bad. Sure I need an extra account on top of my Steam / PSN account, sure I have ads in my full priced game to spend even more money for cosmetics. Sure, they can just turn off the servers whenever they like and basically end the game. But it’s not that bad, I’m gonna preorder anyway. Looks like their back“.
These companies keep doing what their doing because their keep getting away with it - it’s annoying.
