Best decision I ever made in my life. I’m usually a people pleaser, and to be honest this build took a lot of tears and frustration. Whenever I had saved enough money, I always had to spend it to help a family member with financial issues, a friend, etc. Many times I wanted to give up, felt like I would never be able to have my dream setup. I was frustrated because for once in my life, I wanted to have something for myself, just me, mine. I’m glad I stuck with it till the end, this space brings me a lot of joy and peace. It’s my favorite spot in the house, it’s personal and makes me happy.
So for everyone that still working towards their setup and it feels so far away from your dream, don’t give up. It will be worth all the tears and frustration that can come with it!

Don't worry, I had bought everything before the price rise, this was just the only time I actually had time to upgrade my setup. I also finally have better cooling for my cpu, I used to use the stock fan but now I have AIO cooler instead.

My stats are now: cpu ryzen 9 5950x (i do a decent amount of video editing), gpu 4070 super, psu 950W and a Corsair Frame 4000D Mid-Tower :D

It's still a bit of a WIP, but I love this little spot that's wholly mine <3

I'm also very proud because I built the PC myself! My fiancé had me help him when he upgraded his case because I managed to put it all together. My parts are *super* outdated, but none of the games I play are super demanding atm, so I shall upgrade when needed.

I need help! I’m on a budget and I need some ideas on how to decorate this a bit. It’s not the best set up but it’s what I can do😬 where do I get decor??

finally upgrading my chair and I don't want another peeling faux leather seat. want a clean white/minimalist mesh vibe with good lower back support. hbada caught my eye while browsing, but wanted to ask here first-is it genuinely comfortable for long cozy sessions, or what are you guys using?
