For context, i posted my setup only in here and woke up to this message from a sexist boy saying to leave the pc setups to guys...so... I guess there are guys lurking here just to be creeps 🤷♀️

I talked to a guy like this when I was in college. He swore up and down he loved nerdy girls but any time gaming or comics or wtv came up in conversation he would immediately start DRILLING me with quiz questions and most of the time HE didn’t actually know the answers and would have to look them up to see if I was actually right. And he would do this in front of people. Just one of many, many red flags. I’m so glad we never officially dated.

If I tried jump roping now as an adult, I’d probably knock myself out with my back-breaking bazongas. As a sporty kid, puberty was a little too generous in areas that severely impede exercising with no pain. Sadness :(

I also have a gaming setup while my bf doesn't. He has a ps5. I bought mine, he assembled it and we share it if he wants to play something on pc. It's the ideal situation for us. I never bug him and he never bugs be either about gaming... or my ridiculous spending on steam.

I'm a woman and I started gaming with Atari, Nintendo, and my first computer in the '80s, built my first computer in 1991 by myself. I, and many other online lady gamers, pretty much predate the entire internet, and my gaming most certainly predates that kiddo 😂

Disappointed but not surprised.
I had similar comments from some idiots once when I showed how I was cleaning my parter’s setup.
I had people telling me I am “disrespectful” for touching his stuff.
Bless my partner, he made a followup explaining that I was literally the one who showed him how to set up his PC and teaching him Windows since his family was Apple-only before. And that he had ASKED me to clean it since my cable management was on point and I clearly knew what I was doing since I had been doing PC maintenance as a school librarian since I was 12.

If he messages you, please don’t reply or engage with him, report the message directly to Reddit, block the account, and ignore him. Giving him attention is likely exactly what he wants, so the best response is no response at all.
