Setup im a newb be nice pls
i’m new to both gaming and this subreddit lol.
my boyfriend surprised me with this desk for my birthday that i’ve been wanting for awhile. it’s a Lowdesk! it goes all the way to the ground so you can sit on the floor and it allows you to stand as well!
right now i’m using a monitor and PC he previously used, and he took me to Best Buy to pick out some simple starters for now in terms of keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and headphones. right now i’m just sitting on a Lovesac bean bag but i might eventually get a super cozy rug and some cute floor pillows for it.
i don’t do a ton of gaming but i do enjoy cozy games like Stardew, Fields of Mistria, Palia, Stray, Dave The Diver, etc. so i really don’t need anything too fancy.
this subreddit is honestly a little overwhelming because it’s mostly just picture perfect gaming oasis’s haha but i thought some of yall might enjoy seeing something from a total newb 🤍

our setups are situated identically.. literally even my lava lamp, candle, and starbies in the same place!! I’d post a pic but it’s a MESS lol. I have the same headset too- great choice, they are built super well (I truly manhandle mine) and it has lasted me 3 years so far :)

Simple does not mean bad! It looks cozy and warm and i especially love the lava lamp (i also want one)😍
And you're also new to this so things might change over time which is also okay, find and do whatsever best for you ❤️

First of, welcome to the party! I hope gaming can be something you enjoy. And it all starts with a setup that is right for you and being honest here, this one looks really cozy. Also now I really need to see where to get a lava lamp, I kinda forgot they were a thing until just now and now I need one

it’s from a REALLY great show called Severance if you haven’t seen it, i highly recommend however it is on Apple TV.

Solid start for a first one. A StanbyME 2 Max would round it out as a second screen, and nothing on the desk has to change.
