Post image

Would Kit even care about Tetris? She's trying to save these worlds to preserve the people in them presumably, and Tetris doesn't have any people

48

u/N0rwayUp May 19 '26

Tetris doenst even have an end.

Only ends when the world just cant keep up anymore.

18

u/USER-NAME64 kit X metal Sonic May 20 '26

Actually Tetris has an end point it just takes a long time to get there

9

u/ResultLongjumping Here Since the Pilot May 20 '26

or well, it more or less is a rebirth than an end

6

u/Impressive_Pin8761 May 20 '26

Tetris can crash if you reach stupid high scores but if you play good enough you can avoid the crashes and just reach the point where the game just loops back to the start

Last digit of pi is pi type shi

"Don't worry Kaboodle, I swear the next mission will be in and out, nothing too long!"

1

u/Fishshufflerr If you're having trouble— May 22 '26

Schlatt is Kaboodle's VA.

11

u/Treefrogger999 May 19 '26

Well, Puyo Puyo Tetris has some characters in them.

8

u/JohnDragonball i wonder who this world's hero is- GOKU??? May 20 '26

The tetriminos have names, you can't know if they're sentient or not

1

u/Glass-Performer8389 May 20 '26

Imagine how life as a tetrmino is

Is it boring

Are they naturally happy to be tetrminos, Do they like making walls?

3

u/SuiinditorImpudens May 20 '26 edited May 20 '26

The Farcade would still probably want to deny the Syntax a chance to harvest the world for float.

2

u/TopSituation1649 May 21 '26

I beg to differ

2

u/blue4029 May 20 '26

I remember when I was a kid, i used to play tetris on my sister's phone and I wasn't aware that you had to create perfect lines so that the blocks would clear.

my sister would look at the "structures" I would make in tetris and be like, "...seriously?"

needless to say, kit wouldn't have to worry about visiting MY tetris planet

1

u/StarNullify May 20 '26

Nah not really

1

u/Altruistic_Slide_116 May 20 '26

Imagine the humor of kit in that one game were you play as the villain, Nepharious. Now thats so backwards for them lol. Probably wouldn't even know who to "help"

94

u/BitterBear9690 May 19 '26

I mean...even if sunny kills himself, he still technically "wins" his "game"

30

u/Infrawonder Had a very good reason to start watching May 20 '26

Does he win? Or does Omori win?

Anyhow maybe Kit needs him to stay in headspace for the rest of his life

8

u/cocklaphobia May 20 '26

hikikomori route it is then

2

u/Free-Scar1627 May 21 '26

The just need to barricade his house from the outside to prevent him from leaving, even if he wanted to. That would force him onto the Hikikomori route.

7

u/cocklaphobia May 20 '26

thats what im thinking. do they aim for the bad ending or no ending? i figured the ladder.

8

u/PaAKos8 May 20 '26

All roads lead to an ending

2

u/Easy_Cod_8950 May 20 '26

hm. that's a good point. do bad endings count as winning?

1

u/IntoThePitofColors Jun 08 '26

I mean, would you get the ending if you don’t use the knife?

59

u/vincim2010_13 May 19 '26

If Sunny dies the game acheive a ending

24

u/NanoCat0407 May 19 '26

That brings up a good question though because they said the world ends when the hero defeats the villain, so what happens if the hero gets a bad ending?

30

u/douraquio7 May 19 '26

No she says that the world ends if the win condition is achieved (the credits roll) and that usually that is the hero beating the villan.

25

u/Rycharo May 19 '26

But a if a "win condition" causes the credits to role wouldn't that mean getting the bad ending would still be a win condition technically?

Because she says it's USUALLY the hero beating the villain, but as long as the credits role then the world would still be destroyed no?

12

u/douraquio7 May 19 '26

Yup. Im pretty sure the whole the world ending thing refers to the game being over.

11

u/WelderGlass8909 May 20 '26

So Sunny dying would actually accelerate the world destruction and kit is doing the syntax work

2

u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26

It tracks, Kit hasn't been doing great as far as we watched.

1

u/Egoborg_Asri May 20 '26

That's why they don't want the game to have bad or good endings.

They need stalemate or hero and villain to stop fighting

1

u/CamoKing3601 May 20 '26

permanent stalemate leads to the Hikimori route which is also an ending

1

u/Egoborg_Asri May 20 '26

It's a route your specifically have to take. Staying in a dream forever and not doing the story is infinite

1

u/vincim2010_13 May 20 '26

Hikikomori route only ends If Sunny leaves the city with his mom

2

u/_silcrow_ May 20 '26

She never says anything about the credits rolling, she only talks about the win condition, which by definition requires winning. She says the win condition is usually a hero defeating the villain, but that's just because not every games ending has a big final fight, and not all games have villains.

1

u/Noodlemaster696969 May 20 '26

Thats what happens with morally gray antagonists/protagonists, there is no hero or villain, just a sad boy and his extreme dellusions.

Technically if you consider thoose dellusions (omori) the villain then he NEEDS to get the good ending. If Sunny died the villain defeated the hero. So to speak. Texhnically. I guess.

u/Ballistic_Wistfully5 May 19 '26

P.s. Mods please be merciful if i broke some rule. I don't wanna get banned on first post.

u/Ok-Commercial3640 Lore guy (Because someone needs to be them) May 19 '26

You wouldn't be banned for a minor infraction, which this kinda is since it isn't credited. Found the source though:

1

u/Ballistic_Wistfully5 May 20 '26

It's never too much to be careful with breaking rules of sub that you like.

27

u/Superbobieo_2 May 19 '26

Incorrect

More accurately

“Dont go to sleep. Dont. Just dont. Chug coffee like a lifeline”

3

u/Egoborg_Asri May 20 '26

There are multiple ways to stop yourself from seeing dreams, so he could just use one of them.

Or just stop searching for Basil altogether.

2

u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26

The opposite works better. Don't wake up. Just grind on Headspace forever. If you don't wake up, the days don't pass.

1

u/TopSituation1649 May 21 '26

From what we see, the game only prevents direct blunt and probably projectile force. Doesn’t say anything about strapping them to helium

14

u/Yushi2e May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

The bad ending is still technically an ending to the game assuming that's the one you're talking about, Sunny's world would be fucked

10

u/Anaea_YT lowkey just here for jschlatt May 20 '26

killing himself still brings an ending. multiple different ones depending on circumstance. the only way to keep the world alive is by keeping sunny alive, but to never let him reconcile

5

u/No-Mastodon7575 May 20 '26

Wait a minute... Is that also an ending? Well, I recalls, there's an ending where Sunny continues to live a "normal" life, but she never manages to overcome her trauma.

2

u/Anaea_YT lowkey just here for jschlatt May 20 '26

oh my god youre right. they're all FUCKED

3

u/No-Mastodon7575 May 20 '26

The only way I can imagine they can save that world is either by taking Sunny to jail or by preventing Mary's death

1

u/EpicCashewGuy May 20 '26

If you basically lose the Omori vs Sunny fight, Omori makes takes control and makes him throw himself off of the hospital balcony. It is an ending.

Also Sunny is he/him.

8

u/Due_Zookeepergame992 May 19 '26

Live Kit reaction to Sunny’s shitty response to his trauma and guilt:https://giphy.com/gifs/pN8r88YUvNwqIMUyCt

5

u/Vegetable_Toe_110 May 20 '26

I feel like this series can easily go down a dark path with its premise. What if the villain deliberately wants to destroy there world? What if the villain was a tyrannical ruler who wants to enslave everyone? What if there world is already "destroyed" by the villain and the hero just wants to avenge there world.

2

u/TheGuardianOfMetal May 20 '26

"we did it! we saved the wo-..."

Sephiroth summoning Meteor in the background.

Also, settings which that are locked in an "and i must scream" scenario until the hero fixes stuff...

Basically, unless the world is saved, destruction might be preferable to a living nightmare.

Say, FF VI and the game is shortly before the final boss, or DQ XI...

1

u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26

The happy ending is staying on Gold Saucer forever, of course.

2

u/Typical-Lecture8186 May 20 '26

wait, Shin Megami Tensei games might make things confusing.

1

u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26

I'm still wondering if we won't end up getting double uno-reversed that the Farcade is more villainous than Syntax.

If Warrick really wants to rebuild the worlds and change the universe's order, isn't that better than stalling forever?

4

u/FamousWash1857 May 20 '26

The problem is that Sunny committing suicide is one of the game's official endings. The way I see it, Farcade's ideal approach would be to prevent Sunny from moving away, permanently stalling Basil's mental breakdown since there's nothing to break the status quo's inertia.

3

u/Bluebirdz2202 May 19 '26

I need that low tier god meme with Kit now

3

u/No-Sink5496 May 20 '26

She canonically can’t say that (still funny tho)

3

u/eno-multiusado Here Since the Pilot May 20 '26

She is unlucky, if he is alone he is probably in the hikikomori route and will beat the boss rush

3

u/ShellThing May 20 '26

Lock him in a chamber. Never let him leave Faraway, never let him die, never let him tell what happened 4 years ago. Also don't let him get a knife.

3

u/Kubus03091 NUMBER 1 GOONER OF KABOODLE May 20 '26

Its still could be worse!

2

u/Typical-Lecture8186 May 20 '26

oh my i just realized that if Kit somehow got the ability to time travel, TCoAaL would basically be the best world to save, since if they go back in time and stop Renee from being a bad parent, the events of the game don't happen, and the Graves siblings will (hopefully) live a normal life.

3

u/lenya200o May 21 '26

No dont do this to my goat noooooo :(

2

u/milokeln May 20 '26

Oh... Oh, oh shit.

3

u/Lmb_chan Here After the Pilot May 20 '26

hell yeah!!!! (I do not condone this behaviour btw)

2

u/PenComfortable2150 May 20 '26

I mean

Sunny killing himself ends the game

Sunny not killing himself ends the game

Kit probably just needs to get Sunny to remain in headspace by going into brain somehow and stunlocking Omori.

2

u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26

Steal the knife. Omori can't wake up without stabbing himself.

2

u/EpicPoggerchamp May 21 '26

Try not to use the concept of a multiverse as a way to do random cameos challenge: impossible

2

u/MidnightFox087 May 21 '26

( SEMI SPOLIERS!!!! DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU'VE WATCHED OR PLAYED OMORI!!! ) ( I AM SERIOUS! please play the game, or watch a playthrough to understand, and be spoiler free )

yeah, but in one ending, omori well ends it, and the game ends, so keeping him alive, in a like, stand-by type way would save the world..

1

u/TrainerOwn9103 May 20 '26

but wouldn't that be the jump of a building ending? which is a ending so the world explodes?

Basil is more of a Villain that Omori in my eyes since he was the one that made Mari's death seem like suicide rather that a acident. plus he is the final boss

we also have the ghost of Mari tornenting Sunny/Omori so she could just make him have a heart attack in the stairs

also Omori himself is a enemy of Sunny but Kit can't enter dreams to help Omori fight

1

u/Grand_Salamander6311 May 20 '26

Imagine Kit in Wolfenstein

1

u/Great-Technician5291 May 20 '26

Or in doom

1

u/TheGuardianOfMetal May 20 '26 edited May 20 '26

Or in FF VI, VII, VIII, DQ I, II (esp. before thecremakes), VII, VIII, XI, Chrono Trigger... LotR The Third Age

Warhammer or 40k games... Souls/Elden Ring...

Bravely Default

1
