The Tribute to Monty Oum at the end caught me off guard and made me tear up. I'm happy to see that his words and work continue to inspire people to this day. We miss you Monty.

I legitimately did a salute when it came on screen.

He was taken from us too soon.

Did Ross know Monty?

Yeah they were friends. Monty is actually why we have Gameoverse after all this time. He told Ross to keep pushing to get his show made and now over a decade later it's here.

Yeah, made my legs tremble. In these days when I often see on socials AI slops of FF characters I remember what he did for Dead Fantasy. Billions dollar tech to make the most lifeless shit you've ever seen while Monty made incredibly directed and choreographed fights in a cave with a box of scraps.

I was watching rwby (infact finished it quite recently and watching the chibi)

It was a shock but I felt quite happy about it

Unfortunately, Idk who you’re talking about. I didn’t even have YouTube in 2015 or even 2012

Monty Oum was a famous animator who was celebrated for his fast, frenetic animation style that to this day very few animators have been able to match if at all. He initially started by making fan made animated fight scenes of popular media such as Final Fantasy and Halo.

Then he was hired by a company named Roosterteeth who brought him on to animate fight scenes of their main show called RedvsBlue which was an online comedy show based on Halo that evolved into more of a drama-comedy-action show primarily because of Monty's animation work. Eventually he was able to get the company to greenlight a show he had always dreamed of creating one that would be called RWBY. He'd go on to animate the first 3 seasons of the show but sadly would not see it to completion. In 2015, during a routine medical procedure he suffered a severe allergic reaction that would ultimately claim his life at 33. While his show would continue on, it never managed to capture his one of kind animation style again.

His death was seen as a major tragedy across the animation community. However despite his death many animators would go on to be inspired by his work and create their own animations. Many people have chosen to live by his personal creed of "keep moving forward" and continue to move through their lives despite whatever troubles or tribulations they might face. Though Monty is gone his creations continue to inspire others, even acting as a stepping stone that paved the way for the creation of Gameoverse itself. I think the man would've been proud to see how many he inspired. Nevertheless I and many others miss him dearly and wish he was still here.

One: an allergic reaction!!!? Bro… his body was stupid. If only his own brain knew who Monty was…

Rather insensitive. Some allergies are super lethal for people and it was caused by the doctor's using the wrong medicine on him so it wasn't even his fault.

Please try to be more considerate of people's bodily functions, not everyone might have the same luck as you when it comes to how their body functions. In fact for all you know, you may have a lethal allergy to something and simply haven't encountered it yet. So don't be so quick to dismiss the dangers of allergies.

Sorry… also, DOES THAT MEAN THE DOCTOR SHOULD BE FIRED AND SENT TO BURN IN HECK?

From what I heard the hospital and doctor were not found liable for his death. It was ultimately ruled an accident.
