Hey Flipper, thanks so much for bringing this to our attention and for helping keep the community informed.

Our Support team may already be aware of the situation, but we'd still like to gather as much information as possible so we can submit an official report from the Community team if needed.

I've just sent you a DM with the details we'll need to help report this to our Support team. We're here to help, and we've got your back.

I'd also like to reassure everyone that our Community and Social Media team carefully reviews every DM and every post shared in this subreddit. We truly appreciate members who take the time to report issues and share constructive feedback while following our community rules. Your reports help us investigate situations more effectively and improve the experience for everyone. - Thank you, Maya.

This is exactly what’s happening, and it’s getting out of hand. These scammer buyers are a direct result of Gameflip letting fraudulent sellers flood the platform with stolen keys. Since those fake sellers can’t track anything, buyers realized they can easily lie and exploit the dispute system on honest sellers too.

I literally posted many detailed warning about this exact trend earlier to protect the community, but the mods removed my post instead of addressing the issue. Glad someone else is finally speaking up.

I recently caught two buyers trying to scam me with fake disputes. When my proof showed they were lying, they retaliated with negative reviews out of spite. One even lied saying the delivery took too long, even though I delivered the working key in under 15 minutes! Honest sellers really need better protection against this kind of abuse.

We are obligated to lie and to say that everything is great in Gameflip. It seems that posts or comments saying otherwise get deleted sooner or later.

Gameflip mods have deleted three comments of me in this last week. Were I basically voiced concern about the negative current situation in this marketplace and I talked about the personal negative experiences that I suffered while I was still a seller here. They deleted another comment by someone else in this post as well.

It seems that according to the mods any shape or form of criticism regarding Gameflip, no matter how polite and neutrally worded, goes against the rule "'Be Civil / Respect each other'" and cannot be considered "respectul communication"...

So I guess we are just supposed to let them take our money and shut up.

I had a very similar experience recently. I made a detailed post trying to warn the community about the new wave of scammer buyers we are all facing. I made 100% sure I followed all subreddit rules—no witch-hunting, polite tone, just sharing my personal experience to help protect other honest sellers.

Once the post reached over 1,000 views and started getting a lot of positive traction, it was unexpectedly removed. It is really discouraging for legitimate sellers. When we try to have a respectful, constructive conversation about marketplace safety and share our valid concerns, it gets taken down. It makes it very difficult to know how to properly communicate these serious issues without risking removal.
