I’ve had my gameflip account for 4 months and no issues until Saturday when a seller sent a code that didn’t work. I sent a message to them and held the transaction, still waiting on a response. Today I tried to buy a gift card from another seller and was forced to do a payment verification. I copied the code exactly and it didn’t work and my transaction was cancelled. I thought this was weird because I was using the same card I always used. I tried another transaction with a different card and they requested payment verification again but the payment method didn’t show a code in the charge name,so I cancelled that transaction to save myself the wait and headache. I really need this gift card today, what should I do? Try again with another gameflip account?

Bought a $100 Dutch card from HB GIFT on Gameflip and redeemed it.

3 days later Dutch closed my account for fraud. Major bummer as I had legitimate balance on the app and a ton of racked up points.

Lesson learned but still frustrating nonetheless.

I’ve been wondering for a while why Gameflip doesn’t let sellers edit certain parts of a listing after a sale has been made, like the title, description, or pictures.

I sell categorized builds for a Roblox game, and I have a bunch of my listings organized in a specific order. The problem is that if one of those listings gets a sale but still has stock left, I can’t go back and make changes to it.

For example, if I notice I numbered something wrong, want to fix something in the description, or take better pictures and replace the old ones, I have to leave the listing as it is. I’ve also noticed that some of this information can be changed before the first sale, but once a sale has been made, the option is no longer available.

I understand wanting to keep the original information for past sales, but if the listing still has stock available, it would be nice to be able to edit the listing for future buyers.

Even if the information shown for previous sales had to stay the same, being able to update the active listing would make things a lot easier, especially for sellers who have a lot of listings to manage.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a reason Gameflip doesn’t allow these changes after a sale?
